Ah well, I've now got two free hours to use. Will use them up together one Sunday and call it a day I think. I can barely save anything and it's become more trouble than it's worth.

I only saw the latest session after it had started, so I missed out.

But a few pennies worth of points towards a cuddly toy hardly seems worth the effort unless you're just in it for the gaming.

I think the main value, aside from 'doing one's bit' to help relieve some pressure on the grid, is in earning free weekend electricity hours.

Yes, I think there is indeed an element of demonstrating the concept that people can be incentivised to change their habits and move some of their usage to less demanding periods. Clearly some can be incentivised more than others, for whatever reason(s). I still remember the rolling power cuts of the 1970s so wouldn't want to return to that.
