A month on from the initial observations, can I check people's findings?

Has the 200Mb free per month stopped being provided, whether people re-register or not? Ie. Did those who used their data in November find it failed to reload this month? Without re-registering for My3?

I've certainly been charged the new higher rates for 15p texts since re-registering.
I managed to blag a 1gb 1 month top up on a couple of my Sims via love chat.
They are supposed to be looking into it. But it's hard going, i may complain again once the data runs out.
  • I can not find a link to get data bundles on my3 web site either
  • The only info I'm seeing wrt my SIMs is a cash balance. How are people checking their (free) data allowance , or is it that data is being consumed and no debit of the cash balance occurs?

The word is that the free 200 may have been confiscated and at best replaced with 2 free SMS and a one off lump sum of 100m data

The free data allowance used to show in the 'App' or on their website. Since being 'Forced' to re-register, the free data allowance no longer shows for me

That's because there's probably no longer any free allowance

I know that !! I was replying to 'flaneurs' post asking how people checked their allowance

    =========

On the removal of Data Allowance

I have just completed a Customer Complaint form on the Three webpage and requested the re-instatement of my allowances.  Shall report back when I have had a reply

It's worth keeping an eye on this thread too as some kind of moderator is involved and trying to get official answers.

    Hi

Really glad I found this thread as I couldn't understand why my credit balance recently started to run out so frequently.

I suspected that the 200mb was no longer being applied and contacted Three.  I pointed them to https://www.three.co.uk/support/mobile-broadband/getting-started/about-pay-as-you-go-mobile-broadband which says that, although the 200mb is no longer available to new customers, those "who have registered already will continue to receive the 200MB every month for life"

The support team were clueless but have said their "back-end team" will investigate.

I'm probably restating what has been said elsewhere on this thread:  I do recognise that three can change their offer but surely they should give some notice to their customers?  Even now, their website indicates that it should be continuing.

I'll see if they ever get back to me but I'm not optimistic.  I'll probably just move across to lebara.

Note that I did not re-register or do anything that might have triggered this.
