Just a note that Text messages are being charged at 15p. Somewhere I recall seeing someone wonder if they had a couple of free texts each month. If they did, not any more.
  • FWIW, both of my Reward SIMs have died. Replaced with an O2 Classic (20p for 2 incl postage!) and a 3 PAYG (because it has good roaming powers).

I will not be complaining to the Ombudsman.

Well I complained to the Ombudsman, I had £5 of credit on the SIM. The result was £100 compensation plus my £5 back.
So what are you all waiting for?

It seems that three can’t be trusted at last November I lodged a complaint over the loss of 200 megabytes a month with no notice and increased cost for calls and texts which I didn’t make many.

They offered various resolutions we eventually agreed on 12 gigabytes to be added to my account with no expiry dates which should have kept me going for at least five years the complaint handler said

However three have now decided to end that with over10 gigabytes remaining and nothing can be done about it this company just cannot be trusted at all

Well why don't you make a complaint to the Ombudsman, the  Ombudsman seem to be fair to me? It's no use at all just moaning about here on this forum, get organised.

I have nothing in writing and its to long now i did accept a resolution
  • You don't need anything in writing the ombudsman will get all that for you and often it's only necessary to make the phone call and state your case. If 3 made an offer to you it will be in writing at their end so it is available to the ombudsman and if they have reneged on a deal made then the ombudsman is the way to go.
  • @southone The 12Gb Data Pack is a 12month pack, so like mine will have just expired.
