    There's actually a more positive update to the thread now suggesting it is still under investigation. 
    Doesn't sound anymore positive to me, sounds like the same sort of bull others have reported being given when speaking to bog-standard agents. I expect Three will be reviewing things in the background simply because they'll have had lots of complaints and a fair bit of churn, doesn't mean it will result in any return of the free 200Mb/month. We shall have to wait and see.

    Only recently was I able to login to the Three website and noticed the loss of the 200MB per month allowance and found this thread here when searching for more information.

    So just to confirm the the Data Reward PAYG tariff changed from 3-2-1 to 35-15-10, and the loss of the 200MB per month allowance, happened sometime in November 2023? No wonder why my credit was disappearing so quickly.

    Confusingly the Three rep I spoke to about this said the price change happened on 12 July 2022 and that people where notified by SMS. Which can't be right. Now I think the rep was referring to the standard PAYG tariff and not the Data Reward PAYG tariff.

    Most of the reps that you end up speaking to haven't a clue and give you whatever bull they think will satisfy your "enquiry" (probably because they don't know any better!). Three don't seem to have kept their staff properly informed, nor their customers! Yes the change took place in the 2nd week of November, and no they didn't send any SMS messages to tell us, you only found out something had changed when you couldn't log into your account and had to re-register! 

    They hadn't even updated the Priceguides page until more recently and it's still confusing as it can lead people to think they may still be on an older tariff. AFAIK no-one is from the posts I've read.
    It seems that an updated guide is this one under the heading Pay As You Go Voice and Mobile Broadband called "New Pay As You Go Plan (pdf 489KB)" supposedly updated on 05-01-2024 !!!! Yes you did read that right, this is what the link address is

    No more Internet with legs. I'm not wishing the year away. What a mess!

    Edited: after misreading the date! However it makes no difference to the rest of the remarks.

    So that the thread makes sense, the original post said that a document was dated in the future  05-12-2024.
  • Thought id try my three data reward sim again now,just to keep it alive.
    Monday made a 30 second call.
    Tuesday sent a text. Checked the app tuesday,no reduction in my credit.
    Thought it might take a while to update.
    Checked today. No reduction still.
    Thats 50p iv saved
    Not used data yet Waiting to see if im charged first

    I did not know anything about this. My calls have been iffy on the 3 data sim for a few weeks, sometimes calling out would not work but data seemed to be OK until a few days ago. At first I thought it was a phone issue as the pages would not load, but more recently I used a different browser and it took me to the 3 landing page repeatedly (using 5MB of data) so then I knew something was up.

    So I registered once again but had to use the old email address I used when ordering the sim. The registration form WOULD NOT take any new email address. Obviously I cannot click on confirmation link so  I guess I will be calling them tomorrow.

    Is it resolved for everyone else?

    Have any other people affected by Three withdrawal of the free data lodged a complaint with the ombudsman? Are we all just taking it lying down on is there more we can/should do?
