Much sympathy on the 'ooh ouch argh!' front.

Thought of you in Aldee this afternoon when they had a shelf full of £4 rose pinot Grigio. I resisted. The £3 red would have been more useful here.

  • Thanks @redofromstart- funnily enough I was just about to write that their 3.99 rosè wine of the week (reduced from 7.99) is currently being supped and is one of the nicest rosès I've had in years so would definitely recommend!

Cheers @Sarahwithlove, we're very much trying to focus on the positives of getting some build work done rather than needing to pay £16k and possibly not getting to actually build it because the council have been ignoring us for nearly half a decade in total *is chill and fine, is chill and fine* 😏

Oh ouchy ouch to the pain levels PiP - how rotten, I hope it eases a bit for you soon. (I'd wish it away entirely, but that seems a little optimistic for your world, sadly?)

Morrisons is indeed about the best regular supermarket for beer in my experience too - quite often find good bits and bobs in there although we don't get into their stores as often as we'd like as the fiends have never put a store in our town.
