I love that idea PiP. Our surgery apparently has a specific contraception-trained nurse, but when I asked whether she also dealt with HRT/Meno related issues I was met with a blank look.

Wow, just got an email from santander saying 'want more weekends away?'

Was it a cashback offer? Was it a customer special rate? Were they using their reach to promote UK small businesses in the winter months?

No, it was an email heading to then encourage me to take out a loan for up to 25k.

No wonder so many people are in so much debt if that's the sort of messaging we receive from our 'trusted' institutions

Funnily enough both DS and I have both received similar from 2 financial institutions. As you say no wonder people end up in an ever ending cycle of debt. ( Been there and worn the t-shirt.).
