  • But @Sarahwithlove my neighbours and all their friends in their garden are loudly singing Wonderwall and I can't rest my shoulder *and* throw aggressive missives that read 'you can't sing, you're inconsiderate, your Mancunian accents are an affront to all Britain, and you're demonstrating both your lack of knowledge and appreciation of Oasis's work, and how incredibly drearily painful you must be to encounter in any situation, social or otherwise' at them 🤷‍♀️

Eek to the neighbours sing song 😬 I wonder if it was fuelled by them getting Oasis tickets along with copious amounts of alcohol.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • They've massacred another good few songs but I'm quite enjoying it now. I can't see them but I can hear:
There's the male host who's super eager for everyone to have a nice singsong in an earnest way
There's another male who can sing much better but knows even less of the words to anything than the rest of them so just occasionally chips in but incredibly loudly to demonstrate his masculine superiority
There's a woman who knows more words than the majority but is trying to be supportive to host man so keeps it going, badly, long after the group have dwindled off the song
And another woman who has heard none of these well known songs ever, but is delighted at being out and is fully involved and keeps shouting 'whoo', including at inappropriate points in songs. I think she's my favourite 😂

Shame I really need to go to bed, I have theories about their relationships to attempt to eavesdrop on 😁

Though as I write, they've just started on Bob Marley and the Wailers Is This Love, and my ears, not usually a hypermobile issue, are physically trying to escape
relationship theories go on we could all do with a laugh lol

  • Happy Sunday and happy September everyone!

Have done my admins and a small bit of spec work, shoulder is still very sore, rest of the joints not much better, it is sunny and so we are sacking off finishing cleaning the flat, and having a treat day of not thinking about every single pence- going to buy a Sunday paper, go to our local trendy bistro for lunch, then have a few pub garden beers.
Dinner is still leftovers from the freezer though 😁
