No @PennysIntoPounds I know it is sh*t right now and you feel broken but so many people posted on my diary when I was at my worst and at the very darkest when I was about to just give up and walk away what seemed like a miracle happened. Yes I am still not out of the woods mentally but life changed.
I really believe it will be so for you. I don' t know how but i think something will happen esp as this new government seem to be keen on development re planning
Sending love and hang in there. There will be a silver lining I just don't know whenMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Awww, so sorry to hear you sounding so utterly crushed by life at the moment, PiP. I do agree with @Watty1 that things can & do change but the waiting can be a drain mentally, & you also have a trying physical condition in addition to that. It's not surprising that it's all got on top of you.
I don't have amy solutions except continuing to be proactive with the council - I served on a local council planning committee for 4 years & although that's different from a planning department, I think your application has all the hallmarks of a case that's been filed in error at some stage while it should very much still have been open & in a pile of still active outstanding applications on somebody's desk.
Anyway, just wanted to send some sympathy.

I am so sorry you are not in a good place. I have no suggestions other than those I have already offered but can say try to have faith that somthing will happen soon. Sending virtual hugs.

Thanks @KajiKita @Watty1 @foxgloves @ladyholly the hugs, sympathy, understanding, love, and 'hang on in there's' are very much appreciated, as is all of the constant support and encouragement from my diary contributors x
Still feeling upset, flat, and wiped out by the accumulation of several years worth of battling against various guises of thorough sh*tness, but hopefully I'll get my cynical yet determined mojo back soon
Today's mse achievement was putting up with a one hour survey for £5
Today's could've done better was should have cooked anything even quick prepared pasta and sauce instead of getting ready meals but frankly I couldn't be ars*d and I am fine with that
Could also have been healthier but everyone was chasing a rat around the pub garden so it was necessary to get another beer to make sure they only ushered it out rather than hurting or killing it. It had disappeared uncaptured by the time we left. Good for rat.

So sorry that you are finding things tough. Not surprised though. It's hard dealing with the physical things which drain us on a daily basis & everything else on top, Keep plodding.

Sorry that you've had a mojo slump. Don't know how you've kept going for so long amidst so much uncertainty and cr*p from the council
wasn't sure if I was on the side of the rat but actually glad that it escaped unscathed.

Cheers @Blackcats. I don't know how I've kept going either. Rat is an inspiration to us all 😁0

I read your rat post at insomnia o clock and then ended up with UB40 ear worming 'there's a rat in me kitchen, what am I gonna do?' EtcMy mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

You are welcome @redofromstart 😁
Though it's now in my head and 'I'm gonna protect that rat from the macho exuberances of various pub-goers, that's what I'm gonna do' is not scanning quite as easily 😁2
