  • How peculiar @EssexHebridean. Still, congrats on living in the only area in the world where there are no dogs or rust etc!
That's unfortunate to have such a bad reaction, my arm is just sore at the injection point now but not even awful if it gets touched
  • Ayeayeaye, everything is so busy, when will all this busy calm down?!

15 minute walk with Mr PIP going to community food co-op, we haven't been for months so thought we should fix that and see if it's mse beneficial, going again tomorrow morning as fee pays both days

Small survey, gotta get my 30p's in the pot

    Bit of spec work

    Laundry

Comping whenever I got a minute throughout the day

    Half wussy situps

Wrote down essential phone numbers in case phone b*ggers up when I switch. Funny how contacts became less essential the further through I got in this tedious and achey task. Sorry friends and colleagues from later in the alphabet

    Couple more surveys

Staged and posted a pic for a product sample survey

Mr PIP was able to finally wrangle the planning portal info, which turned out to be not helpful at all as it only shows what's been submitted, not what's been seen or is pending (approved would obviously be a step too far). So tomorrow the ward councillors are getting emailed!

One hour 15 minute walk with Mr PIP to big(ish) Tesco to get laundry softener for £1 through shopmium and a few bits like coffee and cat biscuits while we were there

Beer with a friend we hadn't seen for ages which was lovely

Dinner is a couple of mini pizzas each from food co-op, with onion and rosemary and grated cheddar added and leaves on the side. And possibly some crisps, which we also got at Tescos as I'd been hankering and there's a comp attached so very mse if we win 😂
Nearly a quid cheaper for a multipack than in our Sainsers Local so at least we definitely made that saving

Having a glass of winning cava too, since it's birthday week 😊

    Happy bday week!
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I thought of you today when I spotted something totally random locally - a Greek Orthodox priest in full regalia talking on his mobile phone whilst attempting to cross a busy high street avoiding using the two nearby pedestrian crossings 😬

When you have that level of protection you can cross anywhere 😬

Hope his god goes with him, sounds like he'll need the extra assistance!

    My today:

    Admin tidying

    15 minute walk

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a £200 Sainsburys voucher but I'm also very much feeling for the biscuits and a rug comp

    Small bit of spec work

    10 minute walk, found 2p

    Comping

Mr PIP got the email off to the ward councillor so fingers crossed we can actually start doing something soon. This whole thing is so depressing, not just because of being powerless against being treated like sh*t by the council, but also building somewhere is obviously very season and weather dependent, so a couple of months delay isn't a couple of months, it's another flippin year, which we can't afford and won't have anywhere to live! We'll just have to worry about that when the time comes I guess (*really quite thoroughly worries now*)
Still waiting on Thames to deign to allow us to give them money for building near and connecting to their sewer too

20 minute walk with Mr PIP for posh wine and tapas in a lovely pub garden

Utilised birthday week privilege and got a cab back what with tummy anxiousness as there's a stretch with no pubs to nip into for loo

Chocolate and nightcap, and hopefully a good night's kip and a fabulous Friday tomorrow

Hope you are enjoying your birthday week.  Did it start with Trooping the Colour or did they do that a bit early?
saw the advert for the local to me omaze house and I think it would work as a good venue for MSE meet-ups.  Just saying ....🥳

seriously though I hope the ward councillors intervene on your behalf and get some answers and some progress for you.
