30 minute walk getting tetanus jab, arm sore but glad I got it done, proper thought I was up to date as you're meant to have a booster every ten years. It's been 20! Thanks again @KajiKita!

Badminton and ten minute walk, very pleased with our efforts

We've asked surveyor several times for the dates he's submitted permissions so we can approach ward councillors and for whatever reason he's just not giving us this info.
So we think we're going to just contact ward councillors tomorrow anyway and say 'sorry for being sh*t but everything is sh*t, is there any way you could possibly find out what the council still need which as far as we know is nothing' (surveyor says he's submitted all applications, and he's getting paid at results levels so not like he's not done it and is ripping us off)

Dinner is stuffed pasta and cupboard sauce with leaves (I'm being extra indulgent this week as it's both mine and the cat's birthday week 😁 And hopefully extra productive too *eyes the looong to-do list from today that will have to be combined with tomorrow's looong to-do list*)

  • I am up to date on tetanus thanks to dropping a fence post with a nail in it on my foot a few years back.

Hope you and the cat have a fabulous birthday week 🥳 You would think that you’d get a reminder from the GP surgery when it’s time to have a tetanus shot. I’m pretty certain it’s more than 10 years since my last one 🤔 Mr SA had a stem cell transplant and had to have all his childhood vaccinations again, he wasn’t too happy about that 😬

You don’t always need another tetanus booster, I wasn’t given one (id stood on the edge of a corned beef can and slashed my foot) as I’d had the ‘5’ ….

    off the GOV website …..

In most circumstances, a total of 5 doses of vaccine at the appropriate intervals are considered to give satisfactory long-term protection – routine boosters every 10 years are no longer recommended. Further details on tetanus immunisation information are available in the Green Book, chapter 30: Tetanus.

  • Book it asap @KajiKita! You never know when you'll stand on something/dig something up/have an animal turn (as in, an animal freak out for no reason, not you having a turn and stripping off and howling in the woods. I already assumed that's how you spend most of your Saturday nights 😁)

Oh ouch @WelshmansDaughter. At least that's a more memorable way to gauge time till the next one is due!

Oh @peb, you would think so wouldn't you, only we're currently haranguing the surveyor to help us with that as it shows nothing- but we've had automated emails from it asking us to pay for stuff...

Thank you @WinterWarrior, I'm shocked that the weather seems to be half decent this week, my June birthday memory of the vast majority of life years is that it's usually tipping it down

Cheers @Sun_Addict Oh that's insult to injury for Mr SA! Good idea to get yours booked in, I couldn't believe it had been 20 years

I never got the 5 @dawnybabes but good to know

They won't do tetanus boosters in our area as they say there is insufficient tetanus in the area for it to be required. Of course, that assumes that nobody ever travels anywhere in their lives... *rolls eyes* Having said that, I probably wouldn't anyway, as that was the original jab that made my arm swell massively and ended up giving me a complete phobia of injections, so...!
