Well done on the win, I’m sure it will be excellently packaged 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Cheers me dears!
Got the spa voucher and it can actually be used in some places in London! Consider me gobsmacked. Mr PIP and I will examine the options and see what gives best value for money without tempting us into extra things. We'll already need to pay tube fares and since it's a proper Brucie Bonus treat, I expect we'll make a date day of it and check out a bar in a nice area we don't often frequènt, so I need to be on guard that we don't go 'well since we're here...'

Hooray - you've won the first of your deserved prizes! not sure you even mentioned this competition in your "today I'm mostly looking forward to winning" bulletin.well done on the car boot sale, sounds like you made a fun day of it (except for 90 minutes in the late afternoon but I've learned to ignore results that don't suit me so I recommend you do the same, but you will need to do that less often than me)1

Thanks @joedenise, I honestly am so surprised, your win will def come soonish! Is there anything in particular you're looking out for comp-wise?
Good idea @dawnybabes, and I like that you know me well enough to know one bottle wouldn't be enough for a celebration 😂
However... read on!
Thanks @peb! 🥂
Aw thanks for saying 'first' @Blackcats, I expect I'll be one of those oldtimers in pubs boring everyone by repeatedly saying to anyone who'll listen, 'There was this one time though... I coulda been a contender kid'.
This may actually occur within the next few months.
Yeah let's ignore the footie result. The ref had a shocker though! 😂
Thank you @redofromstart, a small change of scenery and habit even if just on one day goes a long way!

My doings today:
Admin
Tidying
Comping
We got takeaway pizza last night as an anniversaryish treat and will be getting a lot of meals out of it, enjoyed it for brunch today
Received eight packets of crisps in the post as an apology for the stone, so exciting 😂
Will split them with my friend
And housing association paid my £250 despite saying it'd take ages and me expecting even worse
AND I received my winning cava and it was six bottles not two!
What a day 😁
Finally finished and filed my tax return, whoo!
AND I have over £556.62 leftover in last year's tax pot! (This is because there is b*gger all work around so I haven't got to the next wee tax/NI level which is a bad thing but let's focus on my inadvertent savings!) My thinking on housing association money and tax remainder money to follow, though tax pot money not available until May so the allocating excitement will have to wait
20 minute walk, found 1p, got a big sliced loaf in M&S reduced to 50p, and found a nice storage jar on the street that mum has bagsied
Receipt survey
Entered some competitions, today I am mostly looking forward to winning a £200 Boots voucher but would also be most grateful for a £100 Tesco voucher, and if the universe isn't in a vouchers mood then a combination of books, beauty, and wine would be lovely thank you
20 minute walk with Mr PIP for beer (with Camra discount), found 9p on way there and 5p on the way back
And we won £2.70 on the lottery which we'll put in the flat pot
(Just in case anyone was feeling envious of my good day, my shoulder still feels effing sore, I suspect I've fractured my finger just through hypermobileness, and it's been pretty much three months since we got planning permission and the apparently false hope that anything would ever progress!)
Dinner is one pack of stuffed pasta with cupboard sauce and a garlic baguette from the freezer, with salad on the side which should do me and Mr PIP and mum. And leave just enough space for us to have some of the remnants of chocolate still in the flat from Easter that obviously need tidying
