We skipped the hailstorm but yes - windy even by our standards (time spent on Islands means that when down here, other people's "windy" tends to be our "light breeze"!) I'm clearly getting the hang of windiness in a garden though as everything was still where it was supposed to be so that was a win!

Well done to boot sale antics - good idea to both share the entry fee with pals, and share some of your unsold wares too - means even if you still have "stuff" at least it's different stuff!

I'm really hoping you have won cava, preferably a case or two delivered!
  • Cheers @EssexHebridean, and yes that was our thinking too- I'm looking forward to not doing my jigsaw 😁

Thank you @peb, I do actually appear to have won a couple of bottles of cava and a spa voucher. I'm in shock.
I expect the cava will arrive with both bottles broken and empty, and the only place the voucher can be used will be Outer Mongolia, then I'll feel like normal service has resumed

Woo hoo - great news on your win! I very much hope that the cava is delicious and the spa is close enough to be easy but distant enough to feel like an adventure!
