Hugs for the tough day and the grumps x You’ve still been properly productive 😊
Do you have a wheelie suitcase? I find they make a huge difference. Also, maybe, perhaps, if you are that sore, you could use some of your PiP funds to get you all / some of the way across London with some help from a taxi driver?KKAs at 15.07.25:

Thanks @KajiKita, the suitcase I use is my mums and it's got such good wheels, I love it. One of the comping rounds comps at the moment is for a well good suitcase and I really feel like they would be discriminating against a person with mobility issues if they didn't let me win 😂
That's an interesting thought about travel, thank you. I kinda feel like if I'm well enough to go then I should be well enough to manage, and that might be something I need to have a serious word with myself about as I get older and my joints get worse. I have given it some thought since seeing your post before responding though, and I can't see a way at the moment that it wouldn't be more faff than not, but it's made me think about the potential for journeys being done differently so thanks for raising it5 -
It’s always a balance of cost versus benefit versus complexity. There will be different decisions each time 😊

These new stamps with QR codes no-one wants or uses take up so much bloody space!

Comping (it's in my good books now 😁)
Omaze flash draw entered by postcard at 830am before postbox collection at 9am like an absolute winner
Brunch using up non manky bits of a manky pepper
Shower and hairwash
Fourth attempt lucky for printing some stuff for mum!
Got some extra life out of my nail varnish by adding nail varnish remover to it
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a year's worth of wine- and finding out what they think a year's worth of wine is...
Have successfully manoeuvred myself and the suitcase over to Mr PIPs, gave myself extra time to force myself to be cool and not rush, and made a concerted effort not to involve the dodgier shoulder despite instinct trying to swap over to that arm. It's still not at all happy but at least it's not much worse!
Travelled outside of peak times to save a couple of quid.
Met a mate for a beer and made sure to use the cash in my wallet so that the thin remainder of the card budget limps on to face another day
Did get three of my cleansers while near the supermarket near Mr PIPs that Trolley shows is doing them cheapest, prices ain't going down are they. Used 2.50 of nectar points to bring the impact on monthly budget down which I do feel a bit bad about as nectar points are the nearest I get to a Christmas pot, but everything is going to go up more by December so I'm okay with my choice.
And I did do a nectar survey yesterday and they are the worst of all the awful surveys so I feel like I paid it back in penance if not money 😁
Will try to do some more of their truly p*ss-take surveys to build up more points over the year, and take a couple of quid off the next few weeks budget to cover the spend
Hope everyone is having as nice as possible Friday evening x

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Today doesn't sound like a productive day but all day has been spent chipping away at the things in the diary!
Opinium and co-op and attempt at nectar surveys in bed, like an opulent albeit skint Lady of Mansion 75p

Receipt survey

Comping
Bits and bobs off the to-do list including an eBay listing
25 minute carpet walk looking at the crossword
Focusing on getting f&v in
Prepped pasta sauce for dinner (several portions of f&v!)
15 minute carpet walk reading
20 minute walk getting vitamins from cheapest place (Savers, by miles) then met a friend for a beer and a moan about how long my joints are being sh*t for and how long build consents from council are taking.
Mr PIP did some good yellow-stickering in M&S including a fancy pizza that can go in the freezer for the next time I'm here. Really must make sure to schedule that being a fair bit, other than wanting to make the most of being in this area and seeing pals, we need to do some thorough sort-outs before moving!
The pasta sauce smells lovely so time for a glass of red wine while Mr PIP does the pasta, and will do some reading with dinner of a previously unread book of mine, so if it's rubbish that's a good thing to not move with us unnecessarily!
Have a great Saturday evening you lovely lot x
