Blooming council!  I think local Councillor is a good idea.
if you have an architect would they be bombarding the council to get things moving?
when are you moving to your friends' flat?
  • Don't even get me started on the architects @Blackcats 😁
Moving end May/start of June. There are so many different massively stressful things to attempt to sort out I am now approaching a state of zen-like calm where I just do eff all about any of them. Let chaos reign. I can't be ars*d 😂

Of course on the day I need to travel back, with suitcase, by myself, I get cramps and bleeding starting. Joints hurting and energy looooow.
Have done tidying, admin, Yougov survey.
Rest of day's essential tasks are being limited to: get back in one piece, go to shop, have a nice sit down before going to bed for a nice lie down.

  • The rest of the day:

    Comping

Quarter wussy situps (thought I should get some in this month before I fall apart even more dramatically!)

Build/Council issues notes and things to potentially look into collated into one place

    Ten minute carpet walk

Managed to resist packing lots of extra things

Travelled outside peak times for lower fares

Shop sacked off as not urgent and need to drag out this month's budget anyway

Absolutely knackered now so will have a beer on the sofa, mum's veggie splodge for dinner (kidney beans this time, splodge-watchers), and read my book

Hope the start of everyone's week is treating them well x

mum's veggie splodge sounds like just the thing.
re architects - perhaps I've watched too many episodes of Grand Designs where 8 bedroom concrete, copper and naturally aged pvc properties are built in the middle of a field because of the innovative architect and to fulfil the vision of the ultra wealthy owners who don't bat an eyelid at going £250,000 over budget because they can't possibly compromise.
  • 😁 @Blackcats well we might end up living in a tent on the site but it ain't a field and that is as near a likeliness as we'll get to that scenario!
