Has anyone managed to open an account for one of these in Northern Ireland? Can't use Ulster bank branches so I can't get through the form.0

Have given up. Sent my proof of address which wasn't accepted. Then sent another. Heard nothing for 5 days. Spent nearly an hour on Facebook messenger to be told to go on chat with Cora. Won't bother .too many hoops to jump through!😕0

I had problems from the outset with the NatWest application, with it saying that I hadn’t completed my application (even though I had) and then changing it’s mind and they then started badgering me for ID. By that stage i’d given up and tried RBS instead which surprising, worked very smoothly and in just under a week, everything was set up and funded.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

However, question - the letter they have sent (available through online banking) says I've subscribed to the 23/24 tax year...but this was a transfer with monies from previous years no new money. Am I free to open another ISA with another provider if I wish for new money for 23/24?0 -

I opened mine (I'm a customer already) with no issues. Very quick. Appeared on my app the next day. However, I have had an issue with the ISA transfer from Virgin. They told me (after a week) that Virgin say the details I gave don't match up. They didn't tell me what details so it is difficult to rectify. I rang the ISA dept but no answer after 40 mins of holding so I gave up a and tried the transfer again. Another 7 day wait to see if it works this time I guess.
