Drinking lots of water here as well and trying to eat fruit and small salads. Just can't face eating anything else.

That's a long time for Mr TT to be in hospital especially as it's so far away. Hope it doesn't take that long and he gets home soonest.

Nothing much happening here. It's too hot to go walking even first thing in the morning. It will cool down a little soon (fingers crossed). xxx

Just nipping in to say I remembered at almost last min to exchange my clubcard vouchers before they are worth less in partner stores! Only took 5 minutes - the deadline for exchanging is 11pm tonight.  My hard won and slow built up £2.50 in clubcard vouchers now £7.50 in pizza express...

Got taken a whole hour early today. Sometimes it's late, sometimes it's early. You just have to go with the flow and be eternally grateful for the NHS, These radiographers are wonderful. So clever and kind. Plus mine have excellent taste in music. Just difficult to keep your feet from tapping!

Himself is about to make me a lovely salad. xxxx

Today the sun shone, the laundry got washed and dried, I am feeling more human, went volunteering and fed a lot of people.

Well, guess who was persuaded to have a visitor?! 😃 So travelling on the 11.45pm boat tomorrow. Work bestie's BF works for the boat company & managed to get us a cabin for the way down, so should get a good sleep. DH has given me a list of things to take him too. He had an investigation today with a tiny camera. Hopefully they'll see what's going on 🤞

Had a good day at work, still hot but a bit cooler than yesterday. Topped up both ponds with water from the waterbutts whilst tea was cooking (&afterwards), it took quite a lot! Washed the dishes. A customer phoned (I'd bumped into him in Tosco last Thurs), he said he'd collect his sewing tomorrow, & asked how DH was. Bless him, he offered to meet me off the boat Sat night (11.30pm arrival) & give me a lift home. He's 80! I must live at least 10 miles from him & 14 miles from the ferry terminal. Was so kind of him to offer though.

Grateful for human kindness, all of your positive vibes, & laughter at lunchtime, plus going to see hubby & a big of retail therapy very soon 😃
