It's that symbol there. 🙂 Click on it, then click on the backwards " symbol and you should see this:

Not being able to edit a quote is pure nonsense. And displaying any quote centre-aligned also looks stupid. 🙄

The above linky is using "H2" - the large text as used in the first line. When you are editing it shows as large text, but when you post, it comes out smaller than standard text.

(this is another reason why a "Preview" is required)

I'm seeing URLs instead of quotes everywhere! Is that how it's supposed to be? I hope not as I don't want to click on URLs just to see what was quoted. Screenshot example…

Well, that was fun. My cursor kept jumping to the start of the sentence, repeating words, and capitalising things. No clue what was happening.

Yes, it's hard to follow threads, when you can't see what people are quoting, except for a link.

Its even worse if there are several nested quotes as clicking on the URLs takes you back to each post. Trying to follow a conversation is very annoying.

I came along to see if it was just me having problems with quotes in the 'new' system, and it seems I'm not the only one - all I'm seeing is links everywhere and no quotes. And when I try to quote I can't amend it to the bit I want to quote. I've looked at the backwards P and that doesn't seem to help. Is this a short-term issue that's being worked on - or are we stuck with pages of links as quotes, and the inability to edit (shorten) the quote accordingly?

This change is absolute rubbish. Not sure how something this user unfriendly can be rolled out like this. Trying to follow several quoted comments is virtually impossible now 🤯
