I use the above, Octopus compare app as I like their easy to see 1 hour to 6 hour windows price averages for large tasks.

To me Agile users load shift and we constantly beat the average off peak figure.

Seems like this is because a) very little wind power today and b) markets overreacting to a few global issues so gas price going up a lot.  Probably it will go down again in the next days as the wind gets up and the markets probably realise they have over-reacted.

What we tended to see in the past was that if the tracker price goes up a lot, there are gradually less and less 30 minute slots where agile beats tracker, so there is probably a cutoff point for each person where tracker would become cheaper on that day unless you do even more load shifting.

Yes, I can see today's pricing (and tomorrow's after 4pm), but you said "very cheap days following" - from where are you getting future pricing for the days following?

I read that you are saying prices are going to be cheaper later this week than they are today?

I read that you are saying prices are going to be cheaper later this week than they are today?

I base the pricing predictions on the following plus news of any turmoil not just energy but wars etc. this all effects energy

But on its own this has proved to be a good indicator

And that's the problem, once you understand there is reward with very little risk as long as you check in or set yourself up to receive the daily emails then that's it.

It's still a valid point because under conditions where agile and tracker prices go up a lot you aren't going to find cheap deals elsewhere.

I have downloaded the Octopus Compare app. 
But what time does the last days usage get updated I'm the app? The usage for yesterday still isn't available.
But the usage for yesterday is available in my octopus account.

I generally find it's any time between lunchtime and late afternoon whereas Octopus is 2 days behind for me

Yesterday Agile was dearer than tracker for the first time since moving last month due to having to wash and tumble daughter's blazer when she got home from school

Today’s was quite a bit later for me. It wasn’t there at 3.30pm when I looked. It’s there now but no idea what time it appeared.
