Thank you all so much for your heartfelt words of condolence ❤️ I’m keeping going with the support of my sister & my friend. My sister has gone home for a break and change of clothes and my friend has invited me out for brunch this morning and pizza & drinks on Saturday. The funeral is arranged and family/ close friends informed. So much still to do but this weekend will be some much needed time out.I am using my credit card for executor expenses and will pay it off in full with my diy pot as needed (£2k) and claim it back from the estate. So far death certificates £50, uploaded photos onto memory stick for slide show at funeral £23.25 and paper / envelopes £4.25. The funeral will be approx £1200 with the rest covered by his funeral plan. As I understand it his bank should pay out for the cost of the funeral before waiting for probate.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sya, so lovely to hear from you and that you are managing as best any of us do when this happens. The sheer amount of things to organise can feel overwhelming, so good you have family to support you. Good plan to centralise all costs in one place, to deal with later. A breather will be good and hope you enjoy your weekend with your friend x2
