Thank you all ❤️
My niece came over yesterday morning and we went for a nice walk round the village with her dog & little one. We had a bit of lunch at mine then in the late afternoon I went to my friends for pizza & glass of wine. 😁
My dad’s neighbour has trimmed the hedge at the front of my dad’s so I went to help sweep up and have just sprayed / pulled up weeds at mine. My cousin came this morning with his van & trailer and 2 sons in law and they have taken away my old fence. I am resting this afternoon. It’s very warm so I am sat in the shade with a cool drink 🥵 I haven’t done any proper shopping for weeks. We are still eating our way through dads freezer.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Thanks Tresinia, Suze and dia 😊 I am trying to keep busy but rest at the same time 😉 It is so hot 🥵
This morning I took some veg to dads neighbour then took all dad’s meds and the bottle of morphine to the chemist to be destroyed. Called off at asd@ for milk and salad bits £13.83 and went to petrol station £10. Had lunch then a rest and a snooze 😴
This afternoon I’ve emptied dead pots from dad’s garden into wheelbarrow and brought the soil down to mine. He was aware that these particular plants weren’t growing so we haven’t killed them 😂 Also swept round his garden. I need to find his weedkiller for a few weeds I couldn’t get up and cut the grass but I will wait for my sister to help tomorrow. Now resting and may snooze again 😉0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Work, snooze, repeat, I like it😀. I inherited many tools and gadgets when I lost my parents. At first using them was sad, but now I like to use them as I remember them. It's become like a small comfort3

Glad you are resting as well as being busy. Like @Tresinia511 I think the practical things you inherit will be a comfort. For me its was kitchen paraphernalia. I still feel happy using an old wooden spoon I inherited. No value to anyone but priceless to me.
