    Dear SYA,

I am terribly sorry to hear your news.  Such a shockingly rapid progress of your poor Dad's illness to death.  You must all be devastated.  If there are suitable words they are beyond my powers, but please accept my sincere condolences.  Lots of love, Mary.

    Oh no …. 😢

How wonderful that he had such a gentle passing in the end. So relieved for him.

But you and your family must be utterly devastated. He seemed like the heart of your family, from what you’ve said here, and as others have said it has been so horribly fast from initial pains to his death …

There are no words that can bring you any easing of your pain, so I won’t attempt any. Please take best care of you and there is no rush now to do anything for a bit, so just rest for a while.

    Huge, gentle hugs x
