Not sure if I am allergic yet Suze. Have to stop the tablets for 3 days to find out! 😆

To be honest I can’t remember how long it took as it was over 15 years ago! Online it says if you are eligible your GP will give you a form and it will take 10 working days. I became eligible as soon as I was diagnosed and put on medication but it may have changed since then and may be different for other conditions

Feeling a little better today and my face feels more like my own.

Lovely sunshine so my bedding is just finishing in the machine and will be hung out. Then I’m off to aldee. I’ve dug out my wallpaper stripper to lend to my friends sister and wiped a layer of dust off 😆 I have told her I will need it back to do my spare bedroom (later this year when it’s warm & dry enough outside to open all the windows!) I also managed to find the instructions.

I have booked aquafit for next week now booking has reopened from Monday yay!! I have really missed it.

Lovely walk round the village this afternoon in the sun. Dropped off some books at the old red phone box and picked up 2 more. Washing dried on the line. Daffodils I bought this morning are opening, lovely signs of spring. Tandoori chicken for tea with roasted butternut squash, peppers, courgettes, onions. Fresh bedding tonight.

Woke up this morning feeling like I have a sinus infection. I have to go another night without the new medication and then ring gp in morning.

Sunny day so my sofa throws are just washing and will be hung out. I’m not sure I will be going to my friends this afternoon. I have messaged to let her know.

Had some Greek yoghurt for breakfast 🤢 I still don’t like it even with strawberries and nuts. I need to find a low carb breakfast other than eggs.

Is it the texture/consistency of the yogurt you don’t like?  What about pouring a normal fruit fat free yogurt over your fruit?

One of my fave breakfast fruits is a pomelo - I’ve seen them at L!dl, @sda & t@sco - they look like oversize grapefruits but the citrus fruit is delicate and sweet. And moreish. Grab one to try if you can.

It must be tough to identify non egg/meat based low carb breakfast options.  Just found a recipe online using tofu as a bread substitute for French toast

I wondered about pomelo.  A friend takes meds that you are not supposed to take with grapefruit, is pomelo ther same?  My mother wouldn't have pomelo for the same reason.

    Thanks badmemory and Suze 😊

It’s the taste of greek yogurt I don’t like and I need as sugar free as possible. Also no low fat. I can’t eat citrus fruit unfortunately. I have never cooked with tofu but if I can get some I will try the french toast and remove the sugar & maple syrup.

Didn’t see your comment Suze but just to confirm I am not asking for medical advice just food advice.

I don’t always fancy eggs and they do repeat on me sometimes but I do like cottage cheese so might try that instead of the greek yogurt.

You could sprinkle them with cinnamon and granulated sweetener mixture possibly? I like tofu a lot it’s versatile.
