    Thanks Time2count and MF 😊

The creature in the cupboard is a large 8 legged arachnid 😱🫣 can’t even say the S word or look at pictures eeek.

My energy bill has now been produced.
    18 Oct - 13 Jan
    gas £125.98 standing charge £26.14
    electric £64.25 standing charge £56.25 😳
    vat £13.63 total £286.23

It wasn’t as high as I expected. I have refused to be cold this winter. Today is much warmer. Recently it’s been 11 degrees in my bedroom in the mornings but it was 14 degrees this morning, positively tropical 😆

I pay £77 a month & had a credit of £139.69. Credit remaining £84.46. Will be interesting to see what the unit charges will be on any “no standing charge” tariffs when they come out.

Feeling a bit more like myself today. Slept well last night. I’m going to aldee for grocery shop later.

So glad to hear you are feeling more like yourself 🥰  & good to hear you haven’t let yourself go cold this winter.

Would highly recommend no painting of fences if you are scared of the multi legged wee beasties - then again it is a type of immersion therapy. I painted our fences a couple of years ago and by the time I finished the 2nd coat I was picking them up bare handed to get them out the way of my brush. Big ones!! 😱🤣

I think anyone going for a no standing charge tariff will have to check their maths very very carefully.
As for those 8 legged monsters I don't mind them it is the little ones that I really don't like.

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday ☀️ 15 degrees in my bedroom when I woke up made such a difference 😊

Went to see Niece and little lad, he’s growing so fast almost walking now. Still giving kisses and cuddles 🥰 Home for lunch and an old lady snooze then tidied the house and out for dinner with DF. Lovely meals in spoons including drinks £17.76. My turn to pay from my entertainment pot.

Out shopping and to lunch with friend today. I need to look at bedsheets as my two have worn very thin.

Very frosty morning here but warmed up later and the sun came out. My snowdrops are now flowering 😊

Lunch was jacket potato with chilli and cheese. Only ate half the potato, was yum but very filling. Also had a pot of tea, total £7.45.

Then friend did her weekly shop in Mr T. I had a mooch round and bought an aqua colour hand towel £3 reduced to club card £1.25 and bath towel £5 reduced to £2. Also got a deep fitted double sheet £13 reduced to £9.75 and a diffuser for my friends birthday next month reduced from £10 to £7.50.

My sister is coming over tomorrow for the weekend so I am looking forward to seeing her. DF is cooking spag Bol. 😋 I am missing going to aquafit, I will be as big as a house by the time it reopens ☺️

Thanks Flowers. I agree the evenings are getting lighter for a little longer. 😊

Have had a lovely weekend. Went shopping on Saturday and treated us to a nice light bite lunch. Dsis treated us to Chinese for dinner and I provided a bottle of asti. DF cooked on friday and he did a roast chicken dinner on sunday. 😋

Looking forward to niece and little lad coming over today. I have checked my online account with V money and my new 1yr account is now opened and the money transferred across automatically 😁

Lovely visit from niece and lots of little lad cuddles 🥰

Received a letter from N wide and my 2 year bond matures 2nd week in feb. Estimated interest at maturity £4080. They no longer offer a 2yr bond. If I want the money transferred to another uk provider current account I have to go in branch after maturity with proof that the account is mine! I remember similar nonsense last year when I withdrew the 1yr bond.

Lol probably Suze. I can’t go back to see on my diary using my mobile without clicking back a page at a time. They almost refused to do it last time and I expect it will be the same this year but in the book it says any other uk provider so I will have a trip into town and visit the branch the day after maturity. The only other option is a cheque posted to your home address!

At the moment it’s looking like Leeds for 2yr bond according to mse weekly email. I will just have to wait and hope rates don’t go down by then.
