When you apply for a sole Select account, does it give you the option to switch after asking for your name, DOB and address?
When I moved to Santander, I was able to open the account and switch in one step.
Thanks.
Yep I believe it did when I did my switch.
Even if it didn't you'd still be able to do it afterwards anyway.Aim: Be mortgage free at 50 years old - TARGET HIT 12TH OCTOBER!!

Will I be able to switch a burner account to RBS and then Ulster Bank for this offer?
Will it work for my existing Natwest account again?
Is your burner account still with Nat West?
I've done switches this year which have seen me get the switch bonus with Nat West and RBS, and not long off trying for the hat trick with Ulster.
I'm playing it safe though and transferred elsewhere first rather than Nat West to RBS, or RBS to Ulster...
Others may have had success with it, and he they did happy days, but for me playing safe this year to get as much chance of netting all the bonuses.
Nothing is guaranteed of course and that should be remembered above all.
Hope that helps.

I started the application but, after submitting my address and how long I'd lived there, I had to exit it to go and do something. A message came up, saying they'd performed a credit check. Have I messed up my application? Thanks.0

Will it work for my existing Natwest account again? My wife & I had Natwest switcher offers in 2018 so didn't qualify, however...Tried RBS & were successful. Same with Ulster. My wife's Natwest was also successful but mine was not. This was probably as my wife no longer had a Natwest a/c since 2018 whereas I had kept mine open so was switching into an existing a/c.1 -

My Natwest account one of my main accounts, but I do have another burner account to switch to Ulster (and burner#2 to RBS).
Thanks for confirming.0 -
I've just completed a switch into Natwest.
I was an existing Natwest customer but eligible for the switch bonus so I went through the process of opening a new select account and switching a burner account into that.
My balance from my burner account has been transferred into my existing account I've had for years so i'm now left with a new empty account I opened for the switch.
Should the balance from my burner account have gone into the newly created account?0 -
