I'm new to all this and it seems I've a bit of catching up to do. I didn't think moving RBS > Natwest would work but my eyes are now open. Got Halifax bonus last week and next move is in progress. The plan was to move to FD (which I'll keep for the 7% savings a/c), which I mistakenly opened already without switch but I can get the bonus as long as I switch to it within 90 days. With the info above, I may chance to squeeze in an additional before my planned switch to FD, mmmm. . . .1

The only thing that could come up is needing a loan for a new car, but I’m hoping it will last a little longer.
I've gone for it and just applied for the Ulster account and switch. I will update here with any progress!

As a long-time and current Natwest customer (I've never received a switch offer from them before), can I still open an RBS account and switch a burner account and get the £200?0

Not only can you do that with RBS, you can also do that with Ulster Bank ... and ... you can switch a burner to your NatWest account ... £600 kerchink.
I've just checked the Switcher T&Cs on the RBS website (easily obtainable) and they haven't changed since I and many others did the hattrick in Feb/Mar (all three banks have virtually identical Switcher T&Cs).
Good luck.1 -
Do we think I would get the First Direct switching bonus if I held an account with them probably 15 years ago?? I know the MSE guide for switching says "- You can't have ever had ANY account with First Direct (such as a current account, credit card or mortgage)."
But wondered if it was a bit like the RBS group, says no but you actually can lol

I'm thinking of switching from Santander to Natwest.
When you apply for a sole Select account, does it give you the option to switch after asking for your name, DOB and address?
When I moved to Santander, I was able to open the account and switch in one step.

I have a Natwest account and used a switcher offer in April 2018.
Will I be able to switch a burner account to RBS and then Ulster Bank for this offer?
Will it work for my existing Natwest account again?0
