    My 2 donor accounts had ended up being with RBS and Natwest, both new accounts which had received the incentives. I switched the Natwest account to Ulster and met all T&Cs, but haven't received the £200. An advisor on live chat confirmed I have met the criteria and advised me to raise a complaint about not receiving the £200.
    How long has it been since you completed all the requirements?

    The switch completed 22nd June, I had started using the app after opening, and I completed the last of the deposits on 26th June
  • Hi with the £1.250 having to be paid in,would that need to be new money or can it be the balance from my switching account.

    I don't know but in the incentive conditions the account transfer is (b) and deposit is (c), i.e. separate.

    (b) as part of your application, transfer a non-NatWest current account to your new eligible account (which includes
    closing your non-NatWest current account and moving all your payment instructions [if any] to your new eligible
    account) using the Current Account Switch Service online or via the mobile app;
    (c) deposit £1,250 into your new eligible account within 60 days of opening your new eligible account;

    I would transfer it separately (saves a brain worm) ... you can transfer in and out £250 x5 if you like, easy enough.

    Edit: sorry ... Welcome to the forum  :)

    Hi @dealyboy - Sorry, just to clarify, I don't have to actually go into a branch to deposit the £1250, right?  I've already transferred it in from one of my first direct accounts, so is that acceptable as a deposit?

    Also, is the incentive paid after 7 days or 7 working days?

    That will count as a deposit so there's no need to even set foot in a branch to get the £200.

    The incentive is paid within 7 calendar days, not 7 working days.

    Based on the above, do you also need to wait until your 2 x direct debits have gone out, or does it recognise you've switched them over anyway and pay out the bonus before the 2 x DDs have completed?

    There's no DD requirements for the Natwest/RBS/Ulster switching offer so it won't make any difference.

    Hi @Banksy_2 ... As @Bridlington1 said ... no DDs required for the incentive ...

    I thought I would just mention that if a switch includes DDs it is recommended that the chosen switch date is 4 or more days away from a DD date. Most people in this thread are likely using 'dummy' or 'donor' accounts specifically created for switch incentives only.
  • I;ve just opened a revolut account to get back on the switching bandwagon, not done it for years now so hopefully eligible for most (not first direct, I know). I've read back a few pages on credit searches, what's the general thoughts on how frequently to do this? If I go for the natwest, then halifax as soon as natwest has paid that will be three new accounts in say a month. Is that too many (generally speaking, I realise it's not an exact science)?

    Revolut are not a member of CASS so can't be used to switch from (they're not a bank).
