New Natwest / RBS / Ulster Bank £200 Switch Incentive

I phoned RBS and all checked out. It was suggested I contact Cora if not received on Tuesday 21st (I will phone). The switch completed date of 13th March is the last of the 4 qualifying criteria and therefore the incentive must be paid by 20th March.

Surprising considering everybody else seems to be getting the incentive for NatWest and RBS two days after the completion.

Ironically the poster I was advising on the First Direct switch got hers today, switch having completed on 14th March.

A little complaint bonus ?

@Stargunner ... well I've got it. It must have arrived about midday as it wasn't there at 10:00.

I hope you get yours soon ... it is a bit later than expected - 4 days after switch completion (for everyone else 2) for no apparent reason.

Sure I know the end date but that wasn't relevant to Perksy's situation so I didn't mention it. I know this forum loves to go off on a tangent but can be tricky to actually talk about one situation i.e. the post I was responding to and had quoted and their second bonus from NatWest (when it had already been repeatedly established that people are getting one bonus from each of the three banks) 

I know this forum loves to go into the detail of the terms and conditions which has its uses but also comes with potential to be more pedantic than the banks ever meant to be or interpret the t&cs in ways the bank never intended.

I think we probably all know that the  NatWest group didn't intend the terms to be written such that you could apply for all three bonuses if you hadn't received them before February 14th 2023. Potentially useful if you're making a complaint but reality is that you can do it anyway because they don't check.

On the one hand you have the banks ts & cs and on the other you have what actually happens. 

So thanks for sharing Perksy. Really interesting to know that you got a repeat bonus from NatWest despite having received one within the exclusion window. I may give that another go.

I didn't mean to tread on your toes, or mean to imply in any way that your info for @Perksy was incomplete or ambiguous.

I'm just aware that somebody reading a long thread may start at the end and go no further, I was thinking of that casual reader, who I must admit is quite often me.

Hi,    Can I ask, anyone who has previously had a bonus from Nat West so wasn’t meant to be eligible this time but tried and was successful -  did you keep your same customer number this time or were you given a different one 🤔.    My switch completed on 16/3 and I’ve not yet got the bonus - know still a bit of time left.   Recall someone saying they got a different customer number this time so just wondering if that’s a factor 🤔.   I’ve met all the other requirements so just wondering if I’m the unlucky one they’ve realised had a bonus before 😢
