New Natwest / RBS / Ulster Bank £200 Switch Incentive

Got the RBS/Natwest switch into existing accounts pain free. Hesitating to open a new account with Ulster or not. Not sure if another hard search is what I want, but on the other side £200 are a nice.
Anyone able to bullet point the steps with Ulster as they seem to be rather on the slow side it seems. What branch to put down I will never have to visit? Sorry but can't read 33 pages to maybe find the info.1 -
Hi @Topscooby ...Topscooby said:I started my switch to NatWest on Thursday 2nd March via their website. I used my Santander Everyday account to switch from. They (NatWest) notified me that my account was opened the next day Friday 3rd March. They then informed me my switch would complete on Friday 10th March. This was confirmed on Friday 10th. I subsequently registered for online banking and paid in the required £1250. A further £100 was transferred as this was my balance in the Santander donor account. Today, Monday 13th, NatWest paid the £200 switching incentive into my account…absolutely chuffed
Now I’m eyeing up the new Halifax switching offer!

Probably right to worry about those hard searches, my two applications (one aborted) have cost me three.
Treat it as a nice to get if it happens.1 -

Wot no bank giro credit slip book? Or card reader?
You've been short-changed mate.1 -
Does this offer have an end date? Haven't been able to find one. Thanks in advance.0

@The_Green_Hornet ...
That timeline is extremely useful for us stragglers.
I have just passed hurdle 3 (11 days and still running), I just hope I don't fall into the water.0 -

Right, that was a strange application process with Ulster. No email, no text, no search, no document upload trigger. Only a reference number at the end. Selected switch date 23rd March (earliest).
Strange question was. Do you have a bank account? Didn't specify if in general or with Ulster so said yes and put down the date of my oldest account. Anyhow, they will be in touch and maybe in a few weeks time there will be a reward. Halifax next....0 -
