Re the NW Select account offer my switch completed today with a small transferred balance ..how quickly do i have to pay in the difference to make it up to £1250

Hi @averageguy11 ...
... as soon as you like ... typically when all of the four conditions are met you will get the incentive a couple of days later.averageguy11 said:Re the NW Select account offer my switch completed today with a small transferred balance ..how quickly do i have to pay in the difference to make it up to £1250

BTW you could have done a quick in and out as soon as you had full access to your account.

Hi @pecunianonolet ...
and @flaneurs_lobster ...pecunianonolet said:Right, that was a strange application process with Ulster. No email, no text, no search, no document upload trigger. Only a reference number at the end. Selected switch date 23rd March (earliest).
Strange question was. Do you have a bank account? Didn't specify if in general or with Ulster so said yes and put down the date of my oldest account. Anyhow, they will be in touch and maybe in a few weeks time there will be a reward. Halifax next....
... yes that foxed a few of us and I panicked when it dawned on me (after I had applied) that it was probably meant to be with UB (I might be disqualified for the incentive!) and I had put the date for my Nationwide FlexDirect account, but others disagreed with me ... I even phoned up UB and NW. They said it wouldn't make any difference and so it has proved.flaneurs_lobster said:
I too assumed that they wanted my oldest (still running) account, couldn't remember if it was July or August 1992.pecunianonolet said:

@pecunianonolet
Check out @The_Green_Hornet (above) for the timeline ... have just passed hurdle 5.
Edit: PS the date you selected for the switch will be the start date not completion.1 -
Thanks….I see that others have popped it in and straight out….I’ve now deposited the full sum and will see what happens…I’ve already had their text confirming the switch etc…Is the £200 automated or manually done?dealyboy said:Hi @averageguy11 ...

They seem very old fashioned and slow to say the least. I applied on Sunday and heard nothing yet but reading posts on here it seems that's par for the course. Wish I had left my application 24 hours and switched to Halifax instead.
I'm not surprised they almost went bust as they seem very inefficient.0 -
Just get yourself another donor account and bag the Halifax one on top not instead :-)SVts said:They seem very old fashioned and slow to say the least. Hi
Following on from last couple of posts, with the Halifax one do you have to pay in £1500 per month? and is the Nat West one just a one of payment of £1250 with no expectation of further monthly payments.
Thanks0 -
Yes and yes.2
