Following on from last couple of posts, with the Halifax one do you have to pay in £1500 per month? and is the Nat West one just a one of payment of £1250 with no expectation of further monthly payments.
Thanks1 -
Has anyone been in the position where Natwest have said the switchover is complete, but don't have the account number, sort code or customer number, but do have the debit card?
Other half is in this situation as she doesn't bank with Natwest like I do, none of the emails she has contain any of the numbers we need, yet the account is up and running according to the last email and she can use it and switchover has been completed. We would like to but we can't set up her online banking, app or transfer money as we don't know the important numbers lolSavings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
Just use the Cora assistant. You can get to Cora without logging in to the app or you can do it online. A lot is automated so just type you need an advisor. Then you'll get through to an advisor who will give you your sort code and account number after giving your details.

I made the switch from First Direct to Natwest
It has been pretty quick and painless so far
The only issue was the passport and liveness checks which were a pain to be honest (and overkill as far as i am concerned)
I also use RBS so the website is the same basically which is nice
Still to recieve card pin and card reader but they will come soon

FYI I've seen a lot of people on the thread and elsewhere really stressing that you must apply for the switch when you open the account as a new customer. However, my Natwest application went via the AVU and you then need to apply via phone for the account and can't do a switch at that time. I decided to still fill in the online form later to complete a switch and see what happened. Switch completed on 14th, I made the pay-in on the 15th and £200 hit the account today.0

I got a text on Monday to say that my RBS switch had completed, but still not received the switch bonus. I also switched to Nat West a week earlier and received that switch bonus a couple of days after the completion text. I wonder if that is the reason that they have not paid me the bonus for the RBS Switch, although the T&C's state that the only reason that you won't be eligible for it is if you have already taken advantage of a cash switcher offer from Nat West, RBS or Ulster Bank between 1st October 2017 and 13th February 2023, which I haven't. I may have to give them a call tomorrow.0

I phoned RBS and all checked out. It was suggested I contact Cora if not received on Tuesday 21st (I will phone). The switch completed date of 13th March is the last of the 4 qualifying criteria and therefore the incentive must be paid by 20th March.
Surprising considering everybody else seems to be getting the incentive for NatWest and RBS two days after the completion.
Ironically the poster I was advising on the First Direct switch got hers today, switch having completed on 14th March.
A little complaint bonus ?

Just wanted to share that although I had a natwest switch incentive back in 2017 or 2018, I tried RBS this time round and got £200. I now also did Natwest to be cheeky and 2 days ago switch completed and my bonus was paid this morning. So £400 up when based on t&c I shouldn't have had either. Happy days!2
