@Florenceem these are beautiful- it's amazing how much you're getting done 😍
Today I made a quilted cushion for the middle bedroom. It's a variation of the log cabin. I'm going to make another one but think that'll be circular.

Soontobeoap - You buy special pens for beading - videos on YT. Large hole beads are needed.
plumduff55 - beautiful cushion.
Spent some money today - I am getting cello bags to package the beaded pens. Ordered some mini pegs for planned Advent calendars.
Going to do a fabric order too.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@plumduff55 beautiful cushion! I will join you on the naughty step as I have bought more card making supplies for Christmas. I had enough, but it was an offer too good to miss (lol!!) I am also going to buy a walking foot for the sewing machine. I think it will help with the big curtains for the lounge (planned for later in the year) and I am planning to make a quilt next year with my mums fabric stash. Do you use one?
@Florenceem gorgeous advent calendar, and those pens are so unusual.2025 craft items finished 11/12

@old_fogey yes I use the walking foot a lot. As well as for quilting it's really good when sewing/hemming stretch fabrics. I'm glad I've got company on the naughty step 🤣🤣🤣Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

I use a walking foot too - couldn't be bothered the other day so sewed on my main machine. Fabric rucked. Plugged in 2nd best machine where I keep walking foot on and it sewed it all beautifully. I knew I should have started on it but was being lazy and thought I might get away with it.
Walkinb foot definitely worth the expense and the bother of changing feet over

Crafting cupboard carcass got carried upstairs last night and assembled in the room - doesn’t quite fit - we will have to take 1/2 inch off the top but Mr KK is already eyeing up the storage on the top …. 😉
He has a cutting list for the key and as he had to go to the builders merchants this morning for work to get materials he will leave the list with the guys in the wood yard and should be able to collect the ripped down ply on the way home and then build the shelves in the carcass tonight 😊

we made lovely lavender wands at craft club this week. They were a bit tricky but very pleased with our first time efforts. I was helping others so made mine at home after observing all of the pit falls.
@sammy_kaye18 I would love to take the credit for the lovely pet stockings but the credit goes to @Florenceem. 🙂
