Hi, my 1 year old grandson is coming to visit tomorrow. His mum tells me he loves playing with bags and keeps playing with his big sisters'. Say no more - I rushed and made him a little man bag this afternoon. I have to say it was done in a hurry and not one of my best efforts but I'm sure he'll love his own bag. The back is just the green bear and fox fabric.
Happy crafting xx

I think I will have to make a few stockings for this christmas and fill them for people after seeing all of @Florenceem creations. I can add a few samples I have picked up along the way in there too then as well.
I am busy keeping an eye on my diabetes at the minute so thats all fun and games as well as keeping up with mum and her appointments. She has her mask fitting next week to start her radiation therapy so Im hoping she will be ok because she gets claustrophobic in aeroplanes but Im hoping since she has worn motorcycle helmets for years that she will be ok.
I am still procrastinating about my crafting. I keep looking at my desk but I cant seem to find any motivation to actually sit at it at the minute. I will though once things have settled down a bit. I keep getting all these christmas in july posts coming up on my socials of people starting to craft ready for christmas so I need to make a start. I even had two letters the other day from penpals that I havent even opened yet!

Hi. This afternoon I did some sewing with the Debbie Shore sew along. It was free to watch on Facebook and YouTube at 3 pm. I have to say I am quite slow so had to keep pausing the live video but I ended up with a lovely zipped bag. It's not very big so I shall fill it with hair bobbles etc and give it to my youngest granddaughter at Christmas.Daughter in law to be and grandkids visited in the morning and I showed them my Christmas jumper patterns so I'm all ready to start 2 snowman jumpers - one pink and one blue.

Today I sewed the buttons on my dk cardigan. I wasn't sure when I was knitting it as the yarn which was a cotton and bamboo mix seemed very flimsy without body. But I'm glad I kept going as it's really lovely and hangs perfectly. No more big knitting projects for a while I'm on to Christmas jumpers for the younger grandkids. Happy crafting xx

That’s lovely @plumduff55 😊 I really like the colour 😊
I had some exciting news this morning. We have finally found a cheap, wooden, wardrobe on FBMP to turn into a crafting cupboard in the spare room! Mr KK is going to put some shelves in it for me, I will paint it inside and then line the shelves. I want to change the handles to ‘D’ shapes too, possibly change the closers to something more substantial. And THEN …. I will be able to bring all my crafting stuff out of its boxes, bags, wraps, from all over the house and have it arranged in a space where I can see what I have, finally! This will also involves shuffling books around all over the house so all my art and craft tattle books are upstairs in that room too. 😊 Sooooo pleased and happy about this, I think Mr KK was quite surprised as I don’t think he realised how much it meant to me.KKAs at 15.07.25:
- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £233,521
- OPs to mortgage = £11,816 Interest saved £5,28 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends January 2030

@KajiKita, I am excited fir you. So much easier when you get all of your craft stuff in one place. Makes projects quicker too as you can find everything.
@plumduff55 cardi is lovely. Wish I could knit. I have been thinking about crocheting with cotton /bamboo yarn but it is so expensive. I once had a cotton jumper that i loved. It hung so well and always looked lovely. Well done for persevering.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
