Started Craft and chatter group today 5 turned up which was good as there was some confusion with bank holiday. Hoping for more next week. Started to teach 4 ladies to crochet, the other lady can already crochet abd bought her knitting
    Aww it sounds fab STB.
I hope more turn up for you and that your crochet lessons go well.
I am still attempting to learn to crochet. I think I need to watch a few more videos on YT. I can manage the casting on and the first row. Its when I try to come back again that I start getting stuck!

When you reach the end, do  [however many] chain stitches (usually 2-3, but depends on the pattern), then (assuming you're right handed), flip the finished row over horizontally so instead of the hook being on the left of the finished bit, it is now on the right - at the 'start' of the next row.

Hope you get more people to craft and chatter Soontobeoap, I really enjoy my monthly craft club.

I've also always wanted to learn to crochet, however I have enough craft hobbies to be getting on with!!

    Love the hats @plumduff55

and thank you for the tip @Wraithlady

I am still procrastinating. I think the kids being off school/college hasnt helped because I feel like Im tripping over people or someone always needs entertaining.

Husband has taken daughter out to get pictures for her graphics homework, just back form a short walk to the shop with my boy because he fancied icecream and some company but he treated me to some welsh cakes so cant complain.

Got to know a school mum better the other day and we have both been discussing our crafting.
I think when the kids go back I will sit and make a list of everything on my craft desk and then I will have a list to work through. I find if I tick things off lists then Im more productive!

Hello! Another victim to the garden and good weather here. I've made a nice diamond wedding card (and forgotten to take a photo before I gave it over). I stamped some flowers in the shape of a diamond and then linked up the empty spaces so that you can see it was a diamond shape.

I've got a few father's day cards to make, and a birthday card for the end of the month too. I also need to make my son some more pyjamas (he's put his order in!) So will need to make the most of the weeks before 6 weeks holidays!!

    Now at 65/200
    Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025
    Make £2024 in 2024- £852.21/£2024

97/200- bust my craft stash 2025!
166/200- bust my craft stash 2024! £106.80 spent
211/200- bust my craft stash 2023!

Hello! I'm late to join. I joined last year, but failed spectacularly! lol

My stash is getting a tad out of control now though, so I've actually made a list and started working through it this weekend. Made this weekend:

    - Christmas panel cushion
    - 4 x pen cases with elastic

    Still on the list:

    - Memory Blanket (from DD's baby clothes). I've been waiting until I was more confident in my skills before attempting this.
    - Christmas gift bags
    - Birthday/general gift bags
    - Hoody for daughter
    - Hoody for me
    - Lined tote bags
    - Shoulder heating pad
    - Skirts (for DD)
    - Shorts (for me)
    - Rainbow dress (for DD)
    - Leggings, with pockets (for DD)
    - Underwear (for DD)

I think a list really helps, and stops me from feeling overwhelmed when I do have time to do some sewing.
