I hope more turn up for you and that your crochet lessons go well.
I am still attempting to learn to crochet. I think I need to watch a few more videos on YT. I can manage the casting on and the first row. Its when I try to come back again that I start getting stuck!

Hope you get more people to craft and chatter Soontobeoap, I really enjoy my monthly craft club.
I've also always wanted to learn to crochet, however I have enough craft hobbies to be getting on with!!4 -
Lovely cards @Tiggermad
Thats me finished the winter hats for a while. These two are for 1 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter.
Tonight I'm starting to knit my summer cardigan. I've chosen my favourite - the one I'd lost the instructions for. I'm going to start with the sleeve and have worked out the stitches and the placement of the box pattern. It's in navy Patons Serenity dk 50% bamboo and cotton mix. It'll take me a while as it's size 16 and 28" long. It's beautiful weather here so I'm going to sit outside and listen to my audiobook while I start knitting my cardigan.
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Oooh, love these hats. Knitting whilst quietly listening to an audio book sounds bliss. I used to get tapes drom the library years ago to listen to when driving for work. That was before cds!craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Love the hats @plumduff55
and thank you for the tip @Wraithlady
I am still procrastinating. I think the kids being off school/college hasnt helped because I feel like Im tripping over people or someone always needs entertaining.
Husband has taken daughter out to get pictures for her graphics homework, just back form a short walk to the shop with my boy because he fancied icecream and some company but he treated me to some welsh cakes so cant complain.
Got to know a school mum better the other day and we have both been discussing our crafting.
I think when the kids go back I will sit and make a list of everything on my craft desk and then I will have a list to work through. I find if I tick things off lists then Im more productive!

I have finally received the kick up the derriere I needed to get this blessed elephant finished. A lady I was visiting said she was looking for entries to the agricultural show craft tent! So no more procrastinating for me.
Otherwise I have been concentrating on my garden just now as converting half of it to veg beds. Weather been so good here lately which has helped. Only down side is watering. 60 m of hose from the flat to the garden. By the time it gets to the garden it is only a trickle. Dare I mention the r word🌧😃2023 Frugal Living Challenge

Hello! Another victim to the garden and good weather here. I've made a nice diamond wedding card (and forgotten to take a photo before I gave it over). I stamped some flowers in the shape of a diamond and then linked up the empty spaces so that you can see it was a diamond shape.
I've got a few father's day cards to make, and a birthday card for the end of the month too. I also need to make my son some more pyjamas (he's put his order in!) So will need to make the most of the weeks before 6 weeks holidays!!

Hello! I'm late to join. I joined last year, but failed spectacularly! lol
My stash is getting a tad out of control now though, so I've actually made a list and started working through it this weekend. Made this weekend:
- Christmas panel cushion
- 4 x pen cases with elastic
Still on the list:
- Memory Blanket (from DD's baby clothes). I've been waiting until I was more confident in my skills before attempting this.
- Christmas gift bags
- Birthday/general gift bags
- Hoody for daughter
- Hoody for me
- Lined tote bags
- Shoulder heating pad
- Skirts (for DD)
- Shorts (for me)
- Rainbow dress (for DD)
- Leggings, with pockets (for DD)
- Underwear (for DD)
I think a list really helps, and stops me from feeling overwhelmed when I do have time to do some sewing.February wins: Theatre tickets4
