thank you @Soontobeoap also love the boot!
I'm back post wedding and just read through 10 pages of amazing makes! Well done everyone! (sad to hear about the missing person!)
feeling a bit lost and low after all the rushing around but I'll share pictures of all the things we made next time I'm on7 -
Welcome back @Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine Hope your wedding went without a hitch and looking forward to seeing all your makes. Congratulations.
Thanks @plumduff55 I feel a bit more with it today. I think its a case of meds getting back in my system but it was such hard work. It wasnt even feeling tired - it was complete fatigue but as husband pointed out I'm taking two different meds - both of which have tiredness as a side effect, also perimenopausal at 38 which is draining anyway and was going to bed about 11.30pm and being woken by the dogs at 5.30 for the last few weeks so I think it all caught up with me ---- so for now I am doing minimal housework to make the place look presentable, focusing on eating right for my diabetes, and if I do get tired then I'm resting. Ill admit I havent gotten dressed in the last two days let alone look at organising my craft desk! How is your latest knit coming along?
@Soontobeoap love the boot. I think they'd be a good make to sit on the front doorstep with a few fake poinsettias in come Christmas! Might have to have an attempt at making them. Although Id need a fair amount of water proofing with the welsh weather but I think my kids might even get involved with that too.
Currently sat at the minute thinking about fathers day and my husbands birthday that is lurking. Need to really get myself sorted.
Time to find me again5 -
@sammy_kaye18. Boots would be a great project for tge kids. I am now imavining a pair of boots on your doorstep. With lashings of varnish they might survive on doorstep. Might need an alternative for the fleece. Lots of time spent in craft cab8n today trying to make sense of my storage boxes. 1.5 boxes sorted for craft group and lots more ideas to share. We are going to try decopatch, felting, cross stitch cards, washer jewelry, diamond painting and felt christmas tree decorations. So a good start. The difficulty is finding ideas to keep the ladies engaged that are cheap as only charging £2.00 a session to include tea or coffee! Also have 2 crates of fabric, 1 crate of christmas crafting, 1 crate of ongoing projects, 1 of tools, 1 of crochet patterns and craft books, 1 of childrens crafts, 2 with wool and 1 that is empty at the moment. Did buy a little decopatch paper the other day but that was with group money so not counted. 2 of craft group are confidently working a large square blanket now and one more is almost there.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Hi everyone, this weather is unbelievable. I always do my housework on a Thursday but today it only got a cat's lick as it was just so hot in the house. I ended up sitting outside in the shade knitting. What an excuse to sit and knit 😂😂😂.
I finished making myself a crossbody bag with fabric from my stash. I thought this would be great for taking juice, keys, phone and ear pods when going for walks. This is from a Debbie Shore tutorial on you tube. I made one for my friend last year but hers had a special pocket for poo bags.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

A few pics but i still need to look through the rest on my phone/waiting for the professional ones. We did the flowrds, biscuits, cake, little pompom border, my belt, the overskirt and adjustments to the dress 😅

@ Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine, Absolutely love the corsages. What a brilliant idea. No wonder you were so busy with all of that preperation to do. Did you make all of the little flowers that led a trail to the Marquee as well? I hope that you were able to relax and enjoy your day. You looked radiant.
