Hi, I've been plodding away with my dk cardigan. I'm halfway up first front and have finished the back and both sleeves so shouldn't take too long now.
This afternoon I've finished sewing a denim tote bag that is completely made with old clothes. I've been collecting denim for years and I've finally got round to making this. There's 2 external pockets on the back and 2 pockets inside. It's turned out nice and I can see myself making more for friends.

Afternoon all
I have been a bit AWOL of late. Trying to find some motivation for anything and lacking with the hot weather we have been having. 

@Florenceem the cards are so pretty! I love the sentiments and the colour combinations. 

@plumduff55 love the bag - it is so pretty, 

I have ordered a few bits of Temu to put towards my letter writing but only because I needed to get to a threshold with some bits for my daughters birthday so I will see how good it is and then start looking at Christmas bits and pieces. 
I am slowly working my way through my crafts to do on my desk and waiting for the next dry day to paint the stone circle I have outside with our door number on it. 
Also been looking into some holiday craft bits as well ready to start making before Christmas but Im determined to get other things done before then.

very briefly in May I managed to get 16 doggy duvets made & sent off to the outlets.

Then I went on a cruise to the Baltic for 16 nights. Very pleasant cruise, interesting ports, lovely weather & calm seas.  A week after I got home various folk produced human duvets- 9 in all! So I have been very busy busy sewing them and 26 made in the last 4 weeks which brings my total to 67 so far this year. Whatever is left is going to be bundled into the loft for some weeks as I would like to see the floor.

I also managed to make 3 batches of elder flower cordial, very yummy and so easy. Hugely cheaper than £4 for half litre of the upmarket stuff and just as good......

Nothing pretty mind!

Then sadly 2 weeks ago D day arrived and I had to make the sad decision to let my old girl go. She wouldn't get out of bed.....however she had had a wonderful life and was cherished for the 13 + years I had her. 16 is a great age for a large dog (26 kg) so the house is a little strange with just my boy.

We are off to Ireland next week and I have an order for 12 crochet angels and some cards, but don't know which
