@Florenceem
I love the card - so pretty - my daughter Holly is the same. Shes getting more girly as she gets older and I think influenced by others around her but shes not a pink frilly girl. More mountain biking and covered in pet hair is where shes happiest.
@plumduff55 I love the jacket. The colour is beautiful and reminds me of denim. I love the toggles too and the edging is so cute.Time to find me again3 -

A wee story on how I learnt to knit. Before I had my first babies (twins) I was in hospital for 10 weeks. I was in a short stay ward and was allowed home each weekend if my blood pressure was good. Being a short stay ward there was a huge turnover of patients and many of them were knitters. So I had my own school of knitters all very happy to teach me lots of techniques. I have shared a pattern for baby bootees on here. That handwritten pattern was one I was given during that hospital stay 43 years ago.
That was when I got hooked on knitting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

Made 20 wine charms for a party last weekend - only counting as one thing, though, as it only took me a couple of hours. I did have to buy the wires, though, as didn't have time to make them myself.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

Hi, it's my youngest grandsons 1st birthday today - can't believe it's a year already. They live by the sea and are having a wee party for him on Sunday. So, I'm really looking forward to that and just hope the weather stays nice. I shall take all the pressies through then.
I received my new rosewood knitting needles yesterday but am waiting before I start my summer cardigan as I can't decide which pattern to use.In the meantime I've knitted a couple of hats. The cream one is for a Xmas present for a friend who is out in all weathers walking her dog. The blue one is for me to replace one that I left on a hot radiator to dry. Being acrylic it lost all its shape and is now too big for me.Happy crafting xx
