I also first off read it as Mr SA needs a new head, lolWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?3

Me too... perhaps we're the ones who need new heads!
The garden plans sounds great @Sun_Addict, there's nothing as cheerful as bright pink!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I thought of that walk in bath/shower. Then reality dawned & I realised Mr SA is going to forget to shut the door or open it before the water has dropped low enough. An accident waiting to happen.3

I’ve managed a mixture of both gardening and wardrobe sorting today. I also got an hour sitting in the garden in the sunshine reading my book.I was happy to discover a couple of summer things I’d bought in the sales last year with tags still on (not security ones though 🤣) and had forgotten about. As I’ve been unpacking I’ve been putting anything I think ‘not this old thing being trawled out again’ into the charity bag. I have more than enough stuff as it is.Not really done any Easter type activity. I can’t get my head around it being Easter it seems very late this year.
I’m aiming to set off as early as possible tomorrow to get the security tag removed. The shop opens at 8 but doubt Mr SA will be up early enough to get there for then. I just want to get it done and get back home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Hope you get the tag removed quickly and easily…..can’t get over the alarm not going off.January spends - £587.582

The deed is done and tag removed. I managed to walk straight through the security alarm without setting it off. We took a detour on the way and ended up walking through a lovely nature reserve with a brook. The dog loved finding a new place to 💩 and sniff. We did get slightly lost and ended up having to ask for directions to the town 😆 However we’ve now accidentally found a much quicker walking route.I popped into BnM while we were there, I couldn’t find what I was looking for but managed to come out with yet another Buddha for the garden. I’m after an enormous pot for the palm tree which has burst it’s already huge pot. It should really be planted in the ground I guess but it’s hard to dig that deep in our garden because of tree roots. It started raining on the way home so Mr SA was moaning. I reminded him I’d offered to go on the bus but he insisted he wanted to come with me.Mr SA has gone to bed and the dog is also fast asleep snoring so all quiet here. DD is at work.I can’t believe this time next week we won’t be far off landing in Lanzarote. Mr SA’s last few days in his 50s, who would’ve thought he’d make it to 60 having spent his 48th birthday on a neuro ward completely out of it after a brain bleed and facing a long hard battle for his life ahead.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Oh and forgot to say, I went to edit my Mr M delivery for tomorrow to find I hadn’t booked one 😬 Thankfully managed to get a slot for 10.30.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I wonder just how much use those alarms really are. The number of times I have heard them go off & the people have just been nodded through without anyone checking if a tag has been left on or something more serious. I suspect that they go off at random & they just decide oh I don't like the look of this person lets just ruin their reputation just because we can. Cynic me - never!!3
