@Cherryfudge were not going to the place with the sunset strip, that’s Ibiza. We’re going to Lanzarote. Bit early for Ibiza might be a bit nippy still.

Forgot to add I’ve had the home insurance renewal quote. It’s gone up by £30 over the year and is still pretty reasonable but will see if I can find it cheaper. I couldn’t last year so stayed with the same provider. If I can’t find anything significantly cheaper I’ll stay with them.

Do have a shop around. We managed to get a cheaper quote but then our current insurers beat that so it was worth it. We saved about £50 over their original quote.

Oops, I wasn't paying attention sorry! I always associate you with Ibiza but of course you said Lanzarote.

I hope you get a good price for the insurance.

I didn't go to the retirement do in the end. I popped in the pub where it was being held and decided not to stay as, apart from the person who was retiring, I couldn't see anyone else I knew. So I just wished her well and came  home.

Today's exercise has been yoga and walking to/from work plus Zumba at 6pm.

Tonight's dinner is spicy tofu with chilli tahini sauce noodles. That will get rid of quite a bit of veg from the fridge.

Morning all, happy Friday eve 😊

WFH today and my last full working day for 2 weeks.

I'm having a gel colour on my nails later today. I booked and paid for this about 2 months ago as she gets booked up quickly. I've been doing my nails at home with the new varnish which is really good and lasts around a week but I need something that will definitely last over a week so I don't have to top it up.

I need to sort out the toiletries today so I can pick up anything I haven't got while I'm out this morning. I'm trying to start to pack a few bits as I have to pack Mr SA's case as well as my own.

Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning, walking to/from the beauty salon and a lunchtime weights class.

Tonight's dinner will be made up of whatever needs using up in the fridge that can be made into two portions one for tonight and one for lunch tomorrow.

I've done a quick finance check and all is ticking over.
