Well the things to look forward to after the holiday are stacking up - now going for a mammogram on the same day I'm going to the dentist 🤣 So far dog's op, dentist, mammogram all a few days after we get back. Fortunately I've got a lunch out with friends the day after the teeth and b00b jobs 😆

Finally finished work for almost 2 weeks 🥂🥳
I’ve been super busy trying to get everything done.Picked up the euros from MnS. Good job I paid for them online as their systems are down and it was cash only. They didn’t even ask to see my passport like they usually do.I bought a lady shaver from B00ts with my Advantage card points. Then stopped off at Lid! Mr SA met me with the dog and put my bags on his scooter.Just having a quick sit down before making an early (for us) dinner. Need to book a taxi for 6.15 ish to take us to the theatre to see Only Fools and Horses. We were going to eat out first but cancelled as it’s too far for Mr SA to walk from there to the theatre, even though it’s just across the road, and I don’t fancy walking home at 10 at night if he takes his scooter. We can go for a drink in the bar first.Mr SA was complaining about the dog being whiny all day. Realised why when we got home as her dish was empty and she hadn’t eaten since 6am. Mr SA hadn’t thought to feed her! She’s happy now having a snooze.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Well we never got as far as seeing the show. Mr SA insisted on taking the miracle walking poles and really struggled getting about. So much so the effort upset his tummy and all hell broke loose. The theatre staff were absolutely brilliant. They closed off the men’s while I tried to clean him up and they found a wheelchair to get him back outside to a taxi. It was so embarrassing, his trousers were just full of it. I’m surprised the taxi took him to be honest but the theatre gave him some black sacks to sit on. The manager even refunded the tickets. I’m going to send a thank you email as they really did go above and beyond.I felt like snapping those blooming poles! All they did was get in the way and nearly tripped me up a few times. If we attempt the theatre again he will be going in a wheelchair as he clearly can’t walk enough without one. This is what I dread happening on holiday. He’s getting to the stage where I can’t really take him anywhere. He had a pad on and had taken his IBS meds before we left not much else he can do.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I'm sorry to hear that SA, what an unpleasant evening for all involved. How brilliant the theatre (and taxi) dealt with it so well though ❤️
Hope you've got a very large glass of something nice on the go!

I am so sorry that you missed the show and were embarrassed by Mr SA's accident. It was good that you had the money refunded but I am sure that was't uppermost in your mind. What did Mr SA think or did he just pass it off as nothing.I really dont know what to suggest for the future except make sure he uses his wheelchair. Would it be worth contacting your local continence nurses and see if there are any other products that could help to prevent it happening again?3
