Possibly his system was already fighting the cold yesterday, which made the rest all a bit more likely. What rubbish timing, though he may be on the road to recovery soon if he can rest now. Does that give you time to pack in peace?

He seems a bit better tonight after a sleep and some paracetamol.

It’s all go round here. I was in the garden when an air ambulance flew so low overhead you could feel the draft. It landed on the park across the road! The crew came off the park and went to a house down the road. I can’t believe how many cars suddenly appeared and parked up rubber necking. I went out to speak to a neighbour and random people were asking us what had happened. Teenagers were filming on their phones and one said she’d been tracking it on her phone. People soon dispersed when they realised there was nothing to see.

I was looking out of the window just before I had my bath and the helicopter was just taking off.

I hope whoever it was is going to be ok, there are a lot of elderly people around here 🙏

We had one land close to us once - it turned out to be in the car park and blew some wheelie bins over! That was for an older person who'd come down a ladder faster than he went up. As you say, it does attract attention. I hope they were able to help the person.

Good to hear Mr SA is improving. These nasty bugs seem to have been going the rounds for a while.

It’s a regular occurrence here because the park is a convenient place to land a helicopter. From local social media it transpires it was someone at the end of our road 🙁

There was a house fire on my street last night. Three fire engines, an ambulance and police and suddenly everyone needed to walk their dogs!

    Thankfully everyone was OK.
