Oh my goodness SA, why does trouble come with all its mates!!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -
I know it's yet another job but might be worth contacting the consultant and asking what they would recommend the GP refers Mr SA for, so you can present it to GP as a bit of a fait accompli
Hope Mr SA continues feeling better in time for holiday6 -
Morning all.Mr SA still feeling rough. I can’t believe it the day before we go away. Hopefully it’s just a cold. I’ve packed some flu strength tablets. The taxi is booked for tomorrow at 6.30 am. Thankfully don’t have to get up at silly o’clock as the flight is 10.30.Also had a look at house insurance and have managed to get a cheaper quote £112 for the year as opposed to renewal quote of £179. So that was worth doing.DD is going to work shortly so that gives me the opportunity to give the house a good clean.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Finances have been sorted. It's the start of the new 4 week budget period tomorrow so have closed off the spending pots. There was an underspend of £115.62, £5.62 has gone to the Christmas pot, £60 to the vet pot and £50 to the house pot. CC balance has been cleared. Payday on Wednesday but will leave the money shuffling until I get back.
Still need to book the return taxi. Might go and fetch Mr SA another pack of flu tablets just in case, also need another pack of dog food as I don't think there's enough. Will combine the shopping trip with dog walking.
Mr SA keeps trying to sneak extra pairs of shoes into his case. I think a pair to travel in and 2 in the case is more than enough for someone who doesn't walk! I always have to check his case for scruffy crocs he might have sneaked in, I usually end up locking it the night before so he can't put anything else in it.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
