            Thank you all 🙂
He’s ok this morning but has only just got up. I think in future when we go anywhere I should pack a bag with spare bottoms, wipes and pads just like taking a baby out. Then at least he has a change of clothes if needed. And it will be a wheelchair not poles! I don’t know why I let him take them.Today we need to go to the big Mr T with the soft plastics and combine the trip with dog walking.I need to give the house a good clean and cut the grass over the next two days. Paint my toenails, dye my eyebrows, book the taxis and pack the cases. Also need to drop off a couple of bags at the charity shop.Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger, sweet potato wedges and salad. I’ve got leftover pizza from last night for lunch.Need to put the rose Prosecco in the fridge. When we get back from holiday I want to start some serious decluttering and gardening over the summer.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Hello 👋 What was the show like, was it good? I’ve read mixed reviews. It was supposed to be an early birthday present for Mr SA as he’s obsessed with the TV programme and watches it every day.borefest said:👋 lurker here, so sorry u r in such a stressful situation, I know the theatre & was at the show myself on Wednesday, the staff are always lovely, look after yourself and pour yourself a large alcoholic drink, big hugs xxxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I think you let him take them because at the time it seemed like the lesser of two evils. You weren't, of course, to know how it would turn out. It could have gone the other way: if you'd refused them, he might have been moody or there might have been problems with the chair. Or he might have coped but on this occasion he didn't - and that's information to add to your armoury for the future. The stress was too much: therefore we will use a chair because then both of us can enjoy our evening.Sun_Addict said:I think in future when we go anywhere I should pack a bag with spare bottoms, wipes and pads just like taking a baby out. It may be that evenings can be a different category as tiredness will make him less stable.
I think the bag of supplies could be a game changer - and I'm sure there's a bag you could use, among his collection.
Anyway, happy new nails and eyebrows!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Mr SA isn’t well at all. He’s full of cold, has a sore throat and starting with a cough. He’s in bed at the moment as he feels so rough. Isn’t this just typical, less than 2 days before we go on holiday. A normal person would soon make a recovery especially in the fresh air and sunshine but I have to watch it doesn’t settle on his chest and turn into pneumonia like last year. Also typical this starts on a weekend when he couldn’t get in to see a doctor to make sure it’s just a cold.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there @Cherryfudge. He’s definitely worse at night and he hadn’t had his usual afternoon sleep yesterday which won’t have helped. He’s already sourced a bag from his collection 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
