Yes indeed 🍻 Even though it said no alcohol for 24 hours 😬 To be honest when I got hit by a car and split my head open and broke my leg the leaflet said the same. The first thing I did when I got home was ask for a very large glass of wine - for the shock obviously 😉

A couple of strange coincidences in the past 24 hours - yesterday I bumped into an old work friend who moved away years ago. Then today an old school friend I haven’t heard from for a couple of years has contacted me.
I thought the eclipse was a bit of a let down although I wasn’t looking at it but thought it would go dark when it remained sunny. The moon was quite spectacular at 4.30am though just a tiny orange sliver.
It’s still 32 degrees here and set for hotter tomorrow. Shame I’ve got to work 😞

I’m glad things went okay with Mr SA’s procedure and he had a good dinner to console him (though will he remember it tomorrow?)

If anybody is overlooked at an appointment it’s usually me or my OH, think we are jinxed. I take my book now, snacks and a drink, after a couple of hours of peace and quiet whilst waiting I’ll approach the reception to be told “sorry don’t know how that happened”. Hope all goes well with the results.
