I once waited over an hour for a blood test at the cancer centre of a major city hospital. When I queried the wait the receptionist said I'd been marked "departed" !! Rather an unfortunate turn of phrase considering the location.

I can declare the tea delicious. It’s called Summer in the Garden and is meant to be reminiscent of Pimms. However I’d somehow managed to put the filter in the wrong way round so ended up with a glass full of bits on the first attempt. I just poured it back in and rectified the filter. Looking forward to trying the other flavours.

I drink so much water and wanted something that felt a bit special. I don’t drink pop and although I love gin and wine I wanted something cold, refreshing and healthy. This seems to fit the bill so far. No doubt once the weather cools I’ll be looking for a hot alternative.

I’ve never liked tea or coffee and I’m quite sad about it. I’m trying to cut back on sugar and sweeteners, which leaves me with water 😣

Bird&Blend fruit teas are about the only ones I like as so many others smell delicious but their flavour doesn't match. This summer I have enjoyed their Lemon Sherbert, and Strawberry Lemonade in particular and despite their names neither are too sweet which is something other fruit teas often are. I do the cold brew method then mix with ice and fizzy water.
DS2 loves their chocolate digestive tea hot with a splash of milk.5
