Progress not Perfection

Thank you all ❤️ Mr SA is still feeling rough but it’s looking like more of a cold than anything worse 🤞

I’ve more or less finished the packing now, the house is clean and I’ve emptied the laundry basket, got everything dry and ironed it. 

I’ll really miss the dog and she’ll miss us too. I hate leaving her. I miss the cats too but they seem to cope better. The dog is very clingy and pines for us 🙁

Enjoyed some time in my hanging chair reading my book. Managed to finish it so have a new one to start on the plane. 

So looking forward to a week of relaxing, no cleaning, no cooking.

I have 3 requests for a catch up with solo friends when I get back plus already booked in a meal out with a group of friends. Need to keep booking in these things to look forward to. 

I ended up logging into work (downside of having laptop at home) as I’d forgotten something to put on my out of office re IT systems help I give (password reset etc). It was lovely to see I’d had a email saying I’d been nominated for another award although I didn’t get through to the finals on this occasion. Still lovely to think someone had nominated me ❤️

Mr SA seems fine so looks like full steam ahead for tomorrow 🤞

This song is my mantra 🤣 Last year after the ordeal with DD and Mr SA it came up on my Spotify playlist and it made me feel empowered 💪 I don’t do the lager/cider/whiskey drinks or sing Danny Boy 🤣 but I do get up after being knocked down.
