When you find it, can you attach a very brightly coloured ribbon/scarf to it?

Has he put it in a pocket or man bag without you noticing? He does have form with keys! Or you'll find it when you roll onto it at 3am. Glad you've arrived safely and room and hotel (and internet) are fine

I’m going to put it on a lanyard.

Still not found it ☹️ We turned the room upside down this morning, checked every bag, every pocket, moved the bed, nowhere to be seen. I phoned the scooter place to ask if he has a spare key. He’s going to call me back. He said it can’t have just disappeared, unfortunately it seems it has!

I suspect Mr SA was wobbly due to his recent illness plus travel - I wouldn't worry unduly. A few hours of ITV and a beer beside the pool and he should be much more himself.

Could the key have fallen inside a book? Or in the duvet cover? Could it have got kicked into the bathroom or fallen down the sofa cushions? (But I think you will have looked there). We lost the key for the shed padlock once and had to replace the padlock - much later found the key in the peg bag, where I probably dropped it along with a handful of pegs and didn't notice what I'd done. However that's no help unless you can trace all those unrelated actions in which it might have got caught up - perhaps in a pack of tissues or a toiletries bag, inside a shoe or in/under the fridge?
