Until I get him a lanyard it’s staying in the back of my purse with the safe key. He isn’t really ‘with it’ enough to use the scooter without me being around. I didn’t get a cocktail but enjoyed a gin later.enthusiasticsaver said:Is it possible for you to keep the key or is he using the scooter without you around? Morning all 😎
It’s payday but not looking at anything until next Tuesday. Everything will just tick over until then.I’ve come to the conclusion that taking Mr SA anywhere whether it be the theatre or on holiday isn’t a good idea. After finally finding the scooter key last night he had an upset stomach 😞 This was before he’d had anything to eat in the restaurant. We came back early and he got cleaned up and went to bed. He’s used and wet through every single towel in the room so I’ll have to try and dry myself with a beach towel after my shower. Still got to wash his clothes somehow.I would so love an uneventful day today 🙏🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Sorry about your day. Maybe it's a stress reaction from Mr SA?
I would see about a laundrette or just using hotel laundry this once, and ask reception for a fresh towel for you. I'm sure they'll have spares.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.2 -
The common denominator in his tummy upsets seems to be stress or physical effort. I think he’s out of his comfort zone away from home.katsu said:Sorry about your day. Maybe it's a stress reaction from Mr SA?

I'm sure they'll have spares.I would be too embarrassed to send his things to a hotel laundry but will look out for a launderette. The hotel brings fresh towels every day so I’ll manage this once. Today I’ll hide a couple of towels just for myself so it doesn’t happen again.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I can certainly see the stress link, though I wonder if there might be an infection as well. I really, really, really hope things improve for the rest of your holiday.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Would something like this help? https://www.ageukincontinence.co.uk/incontinence-shop/incontinence-by-gender/mens-incontinence-products/washable-pants-for-men/men-s-protective-pant-x-large-black.html It won't absorb it so you'd still need the pad and anything else you use, but it might help contain it enough to protect his clothing whilst you get somewhere to change?
