A strong magnet gets the off! I had to google it after I unwrapped a boxed scarf from my aunty and it still had the tags on …. She’d sent the gift receipt in case I didn’t like it so wouldn’t have had a problem other than the messing about.

Yes, Mr SA has done well after his original problems. Just shows what a positive attitude can do.  When my mum had her brain tumour, she had 3 ops and ended up in a care home for just over the  10 years of her life. She had to be hoisted in and out of bed/shower every day for those years.  so Mr SA has done exceedingly well, even though he drives you mad some times. x

Can't (well, fully can) believe the essential walking poles are no longer suitable 😂🤦‍♀️

Well done to YOU for making it through this many years with your sanity vaguely intact x

My mum was diagnosed end of July 2000 and passed end of August. GMB4 unfortunately, it was very quick ☹️

I have had the same problem as you in that a security tag wasnt removed and I hadnt noticed it, Foolishly I tried to remove it and ruined the garment in the [rocess. On the other hand I set an alarm off last week with a joint of beef.

The security alarms go off often with us but we have stopped searching for the culprit since learning that hearing aids can trigger the alarm.

Mind you I had once collected an online order via As da and the exit alarm sounded as the warehouse hadn't removed the tag when they prepared the item. Very embarrassing as they waved me through but it then set off an alarm elsewhere.

My fridge needs sorting too but no time this morning.

Real sympathy on the pre-holiday panic. I'm burying my head in the sane for as bit as ours is creeping up. Mr SA's lists must be a pressure you could do without, of course. Keep your eyes on the horizon though - not long till you can sit in a café on Sunset Strip!
