Welcome to the delicious world of mac cheese!Though trust you to make a superfood version of everyone else's homely comfort dish 🙄😁I did not expect either of those Masked Singer reveals! Though my guesses were actually very good, albeit completely wrong 😂2

That's Monday done. Worked in the office most of the day and did the last hour from home.
Verdict on the kale mac 'n' cheese - it was ok but I don't feel the need to repeat the experience although I have another portion left for tonight which is fine because I need something quick I can eat before I go to the park volunteers group meeting later.
The new 4 week budget period starts today. Had a bit of a stock up on Lid! offers on the way home so I think this week's grocery spend might be a chunky one as we're starting to run out of quite a few things.
Quick check of finances, CC balance paid off and an oddment of £1.51 has gone to the Christmas pot.

On Friday a hole appeared in the sole of my waterproof boots I walk to work in and today the strap snapped on my handbag ☹ To be fair the boots have covered some mileage in all weathers since I got them over a year ago and they were quite cheap so I think I've had my money's worth. I think I can repair the bag strap but it's easily replaced if I can't as the bag came with two straps one plain, one fancy.
I recently cancelled one of my magazine subscriptions as the 12 months offer was due to go up to an amount I'm not prepared to pay. I'd seen an offer of 12 issues for £19.99 so I was going to cancel and renew. However they've offered it me for the same price so I shall take them up on that.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work and will be walking to/from the pub for the meeting tonight. Also day 10 of the yoga challenge.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

The park volunteer group meeting went really well and we were joined by our 2 local councillors and 3 community police officers. It was quite funny as people were doing a double take of 3 uniformed police officers at the table 🤣 Glad I went as it was a very productive meeting. Absolutely shattered so time for bed I think.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today so had a nice relaxing half hour with my book and a coffee until the dog got up and pinched my comfy spot on the sofa!
Mr M order delivered and put away. I've about spent up on this week's grocery budget already but have stocked up a lot so there's very little else to get this week.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, Power Punch at lunchtime, Resistance Bands tonight also need to fit 2 days of the yoga challenge in as I ran out of time last night due to the park meeting. This 30 day challenge seems to be going on forever and I'm only on day 11 🤣
VM have twigged I haven't set up the new router yet so have asked me to return it. After what happened a couple of weeks ago I just daren't upset the WiFi now it's working properly. Also need to run an update on the VM Tivo box. They sent me the instructions a couple of months ago and I still haven't got round to it. Mr SA is fed up about it as he'll lose all the rubbish he's recorded.
Also need to drop off a bag of coffee pods for recycling later.
DD is at work today so will give the kitchen and bathroom another good clean. Got to seize the opportunity when I can.
Tonight's dinner is Yellow Split Pea and Sweet Potato curry from the latest PON book. This will be the third time I've made this curry, it's so tasty.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Happy hump day 😊
Worked in the office this morning and finishing up at home this afternoon.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, picked up a free muffin for Mr SA and a couple of other things, only spent £4.11.
Mid week finances check done. The 6 months regular saver matured today and the balance minus £200 to start off the next 6 months one. £28.22 interest received on £1200, the £8.22 has gone to the Christmas pot and the £20 has gone to the holiday pot. Might as well keep this in the current account as I need to pay off the holiday balance in a few days, will need to transfer the remainder of the balance from the holiday pot in savings.
Another oddment of £6.40 sent to the Christmas pot so total of £14.62 added today.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, Zumba tonight and I need to squeeze in another yoga challenge session when I finish work.
Cleaning task is a general tidy/vacuum around and Mr SA has made a bit of a mess in the kitchen so that needs cleaning up. I don't how he manages to get so many crumbs and coffee stains on the worktops!
Tonight's dinner is leftover Yellow Split Pea curry from yesterday.

Morning all, happy Friday eve, another working week nearly done.
WFH today.
The young cat is back at the vets today but only for her booster and annual check up. She has completely recovered from how poorly she was last week thank goodness. She finished her final dose of antibiotics this morning, I bought some expensive tiny tins of cat food and managed to conceal it in the gravy and mix it in. Should be nothing to pay as the check up/booster is covered by the pet plan.
I'm going to take her on the bus as one runs from the local high street to the retail park where the vets is. Mr SA is disappointed as he wanted to take her on his scooter and get his sausage roll fix 😆 It's too far to take a cat box on the scooter and takes forever to get there and back, the bus is a much better option and cheaper than a taxi.
Bus fares should be the only spends today.
Already starting to plan the weekend and I want to start doing some major decluttering/reorganising of cupboards. I've let the ingredients cupboard get out of hand and it's got to the stage where I don't know what's in there.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, another session of the yoga challenge and Zumba tonight. I'll miss the weights class at lunchtime as I'll be on my way home from the vets.
Tonight's dinner is veggie chilli in a baked sweet potato with salad.

I have no idea what’s in the back of my kitchen cupboards, I need to do a big clear out too at some point. I always discover out of date items when I do it 😖
I hope the bus trip goes well and the young cat doesn’t sing the song of her people all the way there. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
