Our declutter this weekend is our wardrobes.2

It could only happen to me! The vet I was booked in to see was called to perform an emergency surgery so I was waiting for almost an hour! Obviously this can't be helped and I was thanked for my patience. However I did wonder why they didn't just move me to another vet as other patients were being seen. The cat had her booster and check up and all is fine after her infection last week. Flea and worming treatment picked up. Thankfully all covered by the vet plan. Then had a 20 minutes wait for the bus back as they only run every 30 minutes. I rang Mr SA as soon as I got on the bus so he had plenty of time to get to the bus stop to take the cat box from me as it's quite heavy. When I got off the bus he wasn't there! I was half way down our road before he finally appeared - apparently it was the dog's fault 😐 Fingers crossed no more vet's visits until the older cat is due her booster in June.

Just so you’re not all in suspense overnight 🤣 It was the dog’s fault because she took too long getting off the sofa and onto his scooter. I hadn’t asked him to bring the dog, just to take the cat box from me!One thing that has never changed about Mr SA is that nothing is ever his fault.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Thank goodness it’s Friday 🥳
What a manic week it’s been both work and home wise. I’m absolutely shattered.Worked in the office until just after lunch then logged off and called it a day.Picked up the free paper from Waitr0se and the free magazine from Mr T. Stopped off at Lid! on the way home.Just had enough time to drop my bags off at home before going back out to the hairdressers. On my return had a meltdown at the mess left behind by Mr SA and DD in the kitchen 😡 Pointed out I wipe down the worktops and leave everything clean and tidy before I go to work in the morning so why do I return to a mess.Had a bath and when I went back downstairs the kitchen had been cleaned and tidied. This would’ve been DD not Mr SA.This weekend will be spent doing all the things I didn’t get around to in the week. I feel like I’m forever chasing my tail at the moment. The recent vets visits haven’t helped as they’ve taken a massive chunk out of my day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Sorry about the mess. I know how frustrating that is. Glad it was sorted when you got downstairs though.

I know what you mean. DS (over 40) still can't make a coffee without at least one spillage on the worktop, but at least he makes me one too now. Then there is the splash as he takes it up the stairs. I still don't get how someone who washes his hands before & after he does anything doesn't notice. But in good news his PIP has been extended.

A fully justified meltdown. Make sure to schedule in regular 'nice breaks' for you over the weekend or you'll only start next week more resentful than you ended this one.2
